I want to make reservations for Napa Rose but wanted to ask if any of you have dined there with your small children. Our kids are 4 and 7. My husband isn't so sure they would be welcomed. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
I've never eaten there... It's a little out of my budget. But from everything I've heard, it is one of the nicest places to dine in all of Disney Resort dining. - MyPark944.1 #91 5-5-13 12:54PMLike Reply

Okay, so spreading rumors ... read the following on mouseplanet.com ...
Rumor: Star Tours soft openings to begin at Disneyland May 20
I'm labeling this with a big "RUMOR" notice because this information has not been officially announced by the Disneyland Resort: Reliable sources have told us that Disneyland's Star Tours is reopening for "soft opening previews" on Friday, May 20, which happens to be the same day the ride officially reopens in Walt Disney World. This soft opening continues on Saturday, May 21, and Annual Passholder previews are scheduled to begin on Sunday, May 22. Officially, however, this Disneyland version is not set to reopen for another two weeks, sharing a June 3 debut date with the new Little Mermaid attraction at Disney California Adventure.

Good morning, so my family and I will be visiting the parks 06/06 through 06/12. I just learned that Grad Nite will occur on two of those nights. How will Grad Nite affect the day crowds and possibly the resort. We're staying at the Gr More...
The park will close earlier those nights, so that they can set up for grad night. And because of that some of the shows, fireworks, Fantasmic, parades will be effected too. - Zooter1361.8 #58 3-13-11 6:30AMLike Reply
We were then two years ago. A lot of the rides ended up being down the next day when the park first opened from hard use all night. It wasn't a big deal. One morning we went from space Mtn to big thunder to Indy and each was down. We went to city hall and they gave us some fast passes to use later in the day when they were running. - TFDland9.1 #7081 3-13-11 6:59AMLike Reply

The school districts all vary, but early June should be before the mad rush of summer vacation crowds. And weather is usually great, but it's been kooky this year. - Ht614.0 #177 1-27-11 2:49AMLike Reply
It would be better in may cause i get out of school on june 3rd so a lot of other high schools will get out around then and elementary schools - dodgers995.4 #9806 1-27-11 6:21AMLike Reply
When I taught in Colorado, our last day of school was right before Memorial Day. We like March, April and May along with January and February. As long as the lines are as short as yesterday, there is no bad day at DL. - sr citizen space ranger48.6 #3781 1-27-11 8:45AMLike Reply

Weather is up in the air in June, we can go weeks with no sun.. Crowds will still be there cause Az schools are out. I think UT is also out. June cam rain like crazy or be sunny and very hot.... It all depends. - GoofyJoe1864.1 #41 1-22-11 10:41AMLike Reply
In southern california we have what is called june gloom, so what GoofyJoe said is very true. Also many schools here start at the end of august and get out at the end of may. - Candace1737.8 #44 1-22-11 10:49AMLike Reply

Thank you for the info. I'd rather deal with sunny and cool ... We're batting 0 for 2. Our last two trips consisted of rainy days the first time and record high temps the second time. We'll see this time - BibbidiBobbidiBoo33.1 #4241 1-22-11 10:50AMLike Reply

GeezLouise! You could go on a 7 day DL cruise for that much! And that would include all meals on the ship. You'd still have to pay for your food at DLR. - DesperateMousewife873.8 #104 1-6-11 7:10AMLike Reply

Is it best 2 go 2 the premium character dining venues with a prepaid voucher or is the cost the same if you don't? Thanks. I heard it was less expensive w/ the voucher.
I always thought it cost the same, but you might get a discount if the voucher was part of your vacation bundle. - OutNumberedMom776.1 #125 9-5-10 6:34AMLike Reply
