The first time I ever witness planking was back in 1999, when a friend of mine decided to do it right in the middle of Adventureland. He laid there for quite awhile too and no one stopped to check on him. To this day I still don't get it.
Does anybody know if the Disneyland Hotel restaurants will validate your DTD parking ticket for five hours? If not, do you know how you can park at Disneyland Hotel for free if you are dining there?
