So for V day we finally went to the walt Disney family museum in sf. It was amazing! :-) the model of Disneyland was incredible and if u live in the area I highly recommend going. Happy Valentines Day everyone

Oh no is he prone to panic attacks? I get crowd anxious so I have to try to remember to breath. That and I have anxiety attacks in small spaces so I have totally had to use emergency exits on rides. I get screamed at or "anger" someone at least once a week. If your talking park place right by the ihop then I have!!! It's where me and my bf stay for his first visit in august and where I stayed 10 yrs ago. I really liked it. It's nothing fancy. Our room was polynessian themed. Pools nice cause it has a hot tub. Friendly (slightly pushing on the housekeeping part) workers. Wasn't a huge fan of the continental breakfast but there's a mini mart right next door. So ya I liked it. I've been watching a lot of videos on the two parks and I like how they call our park charming while WDW is fantastic. I like my park just the way it is. Dl is also still keeping with tradition still having a christmas party while WDW doesn't. They are actually trying to get them to justify why they still do it. I have stayed there more times than I can count going back 15 years. If we can't stay at the Grand Calif, we prefer it for many reasons: can park right outside your room free, the grounds are very attractive, rooms are clean and attractive, dedicated shuttle, a close walk to the entrance if you don't want the shuttle, a good breakfast (but no eggs and bacon), good service, and everything is made easy. No huge hotel to navigate. If you have to talk to the office about a problem, you can just walk a few steps and talk in person. It's always the same dependable place, not uber luxury, but clean, attractive, cosy, homey.
The only negatives I can give you is that there is no bacon and I love bacon, there is one room that is considered Deluxe that is back by the maintenance closet that they only fill when they are full. It is noisy and I got that room once. Now I request never to have that room, and we no longer ask for Deluxe anyway. Other than that, I have never used the pool, but assume it is heated, since I see children in it in the winter sometimes.
