I read this great interview with the guy who designed it and they made up a whole story about how Trader Sam was friends with Indiana Jones so there's all sort of photos and props all over the bar that document their friendship. So clever. - LillyBelle

I saw this on the Disneyland blog and had to make it my phone wallpaper for the holidays. I love Trader Sam's and I can't wait to see the decorations and try the new holiday cocktails. It's too cute!
i was lucky enough to grow up in the 70's here in sunny California. fell in love with these guys everytime my mom drove past a tiki inspired apartment building, or a bowling ally. they were always hidden in a bunch of palm plants with a green and red light shining on them at night. thanks for the post. and happy holidays as well. - littleoysterz

Quick question. For Mickey's Trick or Treat Party, it says you can get in the park starting at 4pm for the 7pm event. It says adults can't wear costumes for the regular operating hours though. For the early entry for the party it's ok tho More...

Lol bluefairy! truth be told I wasn't on stage with my friends cause I was afraid of getting in trouble. I did take a picture of them on stage though. We had press passes that day for the opening of Indy so my friends were trying to see just how far they could get us. - LillyBelle

Reading up on Club 33 for our visit and Johnny Fairfax told me he actually learned a lot on yelp. I have the yelp app and there's tons of photos that are easy to flip through. Just a fun fyi! Can't wait to go!!

Just read this on twitter. Anyone know what this is about? "Starting April 6 there will no longer be photos on Disneyland Resort Annual Passes. You can upload your own photo from home(to be on file)!"
Yeah, I thought it seemed odd too. Sounds like you do have to have a photo assigned to it though. Maybe you can't change it once you upload it?? - LillyBelle

Exactly what I was thinking plaidCM. I could never let someone in with my pass. I'd be too scared to lose it ... Disney is awesome and makes it pretty afforrdable now that they have the monthly payments. I teach in a low income neighborhood... Some of my students don't have much but they do have annual passes- even if it is the least expensive... N e ways I just think it's unethical and too risky to let people use ur pass :/ - vanGoghsStarryNight

I think the face of Tangaroa would make a great tattoo. It's such a great design. It also wasn't till I was older that I noticed the guy that makes the nose. I love it. Ok now, so who's going to get it? :)
