It's Premiere. The discounts aren't as good at WDW as DL. We got it for a year. It's about $1100 per year. I think the break even is 2x 4 day trips to WDW or about 10 days before a multi-day is better...unless you get room discounts in WDW. - DLKenCA   1879.0 #72 10-28-14 11:06PM Like(1)  Reply

We are researching to visit disneyworld next year for my 40th πŸ™€. But we also will be hitting up Disney land in March for a week. Would it be cheaper for us to buy the premier annual Pass in March to also cover disneyworld? We would   More...
Probably NOT. Since they raised the prices I think it takes at least 10 days with 2 trips in WDW to pay for the premiere. The passes at WDW only get you 10% on merch and MANY restaurants don't give AP discounts.  Multiday passes in WDW are cheaper than here. But definitely do the math. - DLKenCA   1879.0 #72 10-19-14 10:12PM Like(2)  Reply
It depends...what type of AP would you buy for DL for example. Β Regular tickets for WDW are much less than for DL and there's lots of discounts available which may make the cost way less than the premier, which was the case for my family earlier this year. Β How fun to go for your bday!! Β I'm hoping to take my boys again next summer too!  😊 - MinnieMousewife   805.4 #197 10-19-14 10:11PM Like(1)  Reply
We probably would just buy the regular pass for annual membership of the premier wouldn't save us at Disneyland.  We are not southern California residents.  - charliesmom  62.7 #4062 10-20-14 2:14PM
I'm in a similar position and based on current prices it is around $250 cheaper to purchase a Annual Pass for Disneyland and 5 day pass for WDW. The key point was raised by @DLKenCA, in the fact that your break even point would need to involve a minimum of 2 trips to WDW for approximately 4-5 days each... My wife and I are seeing WDW in Nov and Anaheim in Dec, so I hope that you have as much fun as we plan to and have a fantastic 40th 🎁🎁 - RapunzelledColey   111.7 #3239 10-19-14 11:38PM Like(1)  Reply

There is a lot of not so correct information floating around. As usual, until it comes from Disney directly, take anything you see with a grain of salt. That being said, there is a copy of an internal email that was posted that specifically mentions that Disney was in contact with Autism Speaks while developing the new system. Disney cares about their product and their guests, I think they will handle this with the utmost professionalism and care. - NotSoDapperDan   323.4 #707 9-23-13 4:56PM Like(2)  Reply

If your kid can hold out until the 10:15 show, it's much less crowded and less of a wait. Otherwise get there early, lay a blanket down and save a spot about an hour before. Anywhere in the front is great. I've never sat in the reserved seating. but it's pretty good and would have a great view. We had a hard time with the 40 inch rule. He went on the jellyfish ride on Tuesday and then tried the radiator springs ride and they said no. Broke his little heart and he cried. :( Then we tried later that night and they said yes, then the ride broke down! And they emergency evacuated us so we didn't get any parent passes back. So we went back to the park on Wednesday just to hopefully get him on the cars ride. They measured him at every stop- the Main entrance, the fast pass/parent pass entrance- and at the ride. Every time I was nervous for him! Luckily he got on. That was our only ride for that day! - charliesmom  62.7 #4062 7-7-13 9:56AM

Yes. There is a barcode on the bottom corner that the Photo Pass photographer scans to put the pictures on to your account. Just hand them your annual pass and they know where to scan. yup. Safety first. - JungleBum   1015.3 #158 2-20-13 11:53AM Like(3)  Reply
A lot of testing goes into determining the height requirements. We want EVERYONE to ride every attraction but safety is of the utmost importance. There is plenty to do and fun to be had with out taking unnecessary risk. All in good time. - JungleBum   1015.3 #158 2-20-13 12:08PM Like(2)  Reply
Do not promise he can ride it, even if he passes the first hieght indicator, he may not pass the one at the end of the line. If he makes the 40" mark before you get there, go on the 40" ones in the morning as we all shrink throughout the day. - Disneycrazymom   137.8 #2798 2-20-13 12:06PM Like  Reply

So we are planning on going to DL in February. Right after presidents weekend. Is it true that disneyland is cracking down on the " leasing" ticket businesses? We have AP,'s but friends of ours do not.
This means that your friends should pay for their own tickets. Or you should just dump them for AP holder friends. - MissMolly   1266.5 #109 1-28-13 10:42PM Like(5)  Reply
Oh please don't let your friends do that. Any place that asks to keep your credit card and ID until you return the ticket is just untrustworthy. - Ain1derland   330.5 #670 1-28-13 10:40PM Like(1)  Reply
Is that what they really do? They hold your id and credit card? - aidensmama  340.1 #633 1-28-13 10:45PM
Yes, they really do. And they also tell you that you have to return the tickets by a certain time. They asked us to bring them back by 7 that same day even though we were staying for 2 days. - Ain1derland  330.5 #670 1-28-13 11:18PM
We did it once 2-3 years ago. Will never do it again. Weren't comfortable with it at all - charliesmom   62.7 #4062 1-28-13 11:21PM Like  Reply
I do believe it will pay off for Disney. If they can catch enough of these tickets when it's not busy, they can put them out of business before the busy season. During the crush periods, trying to enforce this would send the entry lines all the way to the center of the esplanade, and out the security checkpoints, creating chaos. During the busy season, those places make thousands EVERY DAY. Ever seen the lines at the Chevron station, Distix, or at the business park across the freeway off Anaheim Blvd? Hundreds of people lined up each morning all summer. Disney was losing millions. - DizKahuna   218.6 #1643 1-29-13 12:06PM Like  Reply
Unfortunately these companies will probably stay in business because they offer other theme park tickets as well. My friend likes a page on facebook of a place that does this garbage. I think these people who lease tickets are lowlifes. - aidensmama  340.1 #633 1-29-13 10:16PM

When my son was 8 (he is now 15) we took him to DLR. We got him a little black notebook for autographs. When he saw Cinderella, he said "May I have your phone #?" and held out his "Little Black Book". Cinderella giggled as she hugged him and said "Silly! We don't have phones in the castle! Mophie! or New Trent! FYI Disneyland outlets may blow up your device!! I wouldnt chance putting a $600 electronic device in their outlets that have mega power running through them. There are outlet lockers in DL for a reason. Spend the $2 to use them! of get an external battery like new trent or mophie. - ImAlwaysCrazy   673.6 #249 10-1-12 4:41PM Like  Reply
a $60 4000 mah mophie may seem like a lot of money. But what you get out of it is worth it! More worth it than having to pay $600 to get another phone.
