Has anyone else gone to the Thursday night "DCA Extended Hours" event after 6pm and still gotten a wristband?

All I can say is that I'm sorry you're disappointed. :( The real world is a tough place, and I think we all have those moments when we feel let down by a person or idea that we 100% believed in. I'm sorry that Disney was that thing, for you. If you feel that you should let your pass expire, then trust your instincts--if you have a bit of a sour taste in your mouth, that's ok. It's understandable--DL has changed. It's a different experience than it was even 4 years ago when we bought our first APs. Perhaps you need a DL break. While I feel your pain, I think this is not the place to air your concerns. First of all, its against the rules, and secondly,most of us on here joined because we love Disney, not because we want to pay through the nose for magic. I would LOOOOVE to be able to afford a premium pass, but since it costs over $80 for gas on top of hotel expenses, I have had to consign myself to the value seasons sans weekends. It depends if it is a safety issue or not. Most "rules" are for the safety of the guest or CMs. Some rules are for convenience of the ll the guest as a whole. Like single direction traffic after the firework show, Having fast passes for every guest, etc. We are much more flexible on the convenience issues.
