I'm bringing my family down next Sunday and plan on spending an entire day at Disney California for the first time. Other than starting the day at radiator springs racers, we really don't have a plan or a route to follow like we do at Dis More...
We get there early and grab fast passes for RSR. Head to Toy Story Midway Mania before it gets too crowded, and then do California Screamin' as soon as it warms up a bit. - BelieveInMagic

I try to do as many rides that are not Radiator Springs Racers since that's where everyone goes. We are able to ride all the rides we want with little wait times. With the mw app I was able to find a time later in the day when rsr line was only 40 minutes long (the regular line, not single rider!) It was early dinner time. We quickly finished our meal at Flo's and ran over to RSR :) Hope this helps. - TamiLovesDisney

Just booked a trip for February 24-27th. Hope it is slow that time of year, we have booked for during cheerleading competitions and gays days without knowing it the last couple times we went.
I hope it works out! I just booked mine for Jan 14-17 and I'm nervous about it being so close to the Tinkerbell Half Marathon weekend. - Pollyanna702

I've been checking the index to see how busy it is because I've planned a trip for next Thursday. Is it just me or is slow attendance wise for this time of year? I realize Carsland opened and that would take some of the crowd out of Disn More...
Saturdays are great during the summer because all AP levels are blocked except premium and premiere...plus with the DCA re imagining, crowds disperse almost evenly to both parks...makes for a great park experience :+) - uscdisneyteacher

Since when did they stop doing fast pass on weekdays? Seems odd that they would want people to wait in lines instead of enjoying more things throughout the park
Which fast pass were you trying to get? I have been on slowest days and they always did FP. They took away the buzz lightyear ones. Splash is closed. And from the posts today screamin is closed. So no FPs on them Today - ImAlwaysCrazy

Some attractions have FP daily, while others do not on off season weekdays. It's normal and which ones have FPs on which days is printed on the schedule they give out at the entrance. - disney42dude(CM)

I'm trying to post wait times while in DL and I keeping getting kicked out of MW after allowing my location to be used. Is this normal?

I'm making a breakfast reservation for my family at Ariel's grotto. Am I missing something or is it $35 per adult for what amounts to a continental breakfast? Is it worth the money? About how many people does the restaurant seat?
I've never been to Ariel's Grotto but I hear it's best for those that really love the princesses. We did Minnie & Friends at Plaza Inn and loved it. Good food selection and great variety of characters. I've also heard Goofy's Kitchen is really nice, we plan on going there next time - LBChica

My son loves the princess breakfast at Ariels!! We enjoy it because he does food is about what you would expect. Nothing to write home about but decent. In my opinion it is a fair amount of food we have never left hungry, bit it is really not about the food it is the experience. - Itsallabouteeyore

I've looked here and at the mousewait website for a place that forecasts the mwci for future trips. I can only find where it gives a couple weeks in advance. Am I missing something or is this how far out it is set up at this point?
