try priceline or one of those sites also call the hotels directly some of them will give you great rates for last minute cancelations. I got a room at Castle Inn at a last minute back in May for $60 a night ...good luck and maybe drive down Thursday night if you can afford another day in a hotel that way you can get a good nights sleep and be up bright and early rather than driving in the icky traffic and spending all day at the parks - yellowtonka237.7 #1138 7-31-11 3:44PMLike Reply

Get your bday pin. Character dining. Bedazzle some fun ears and wear a traditional bday party hat on top. Wear a small boa around your neck. Sneak in some salsa and string cheese to eat with your bag of free tortillas from the wharf in DCA. - Polkadobo372.1 #372 1-9-11 10:55AMLike Reply

@Snow. Oh yeah, bring in small plastic water bottles to collect it. I'm sure you can sneak some. POTC might be more difficult though. Transfer them to little glass bottles and display them somewhere. I used to do this wherever I traveled but it got kind of crazy. Limiting it to DL would be more sensible. - Polkadobo372.1 #372 12-13-10 9:59PMLike Reply
Honesty here - my princess just turned 3 and we are going to Disneyland next month. When we were there in Oct, a CM just told me to say she was still two to "save money." How many of you have done this?
Done this!when my little one turned 3 in dec. And we went in march we didn't buy her a ticket. They are really to little to do anything. They really should charge by how tall your kids are. Wouldn't that make more sence? - Pinup Princess167.4 #2042 12-7-10 6:51PMLike Reply

I have been tempted. My kids are all small for their age. That's what happens with two petite filipino parents. Lol. Actually last summer a CM wanted to not charge us for our then 3 year old because "he looked 2". I almost said yes but didn't. I think it's whatever you feel comfortable with. It is pricey for a little ones short visit - lockshockbarrel245.4 #1051 12-7-10 7:26PMLike Reply

Go at least one day during the week, and be at the front of the line when the park opens at least one day. Call the hotels and see if they have any AP specials if you've got a pass. The Grand is pricey but oh so worth it. Enjoy!!! - Normstar81.1 #3266 11-28-10 9:11AMLike Reply
Thanks all! We were thinking the 12th-15th. My bday is the 13th. It is MLK weekend but hopefully nit too many ppl will be there during the weekday.
