#2: No, no such deal. What may have hapened is the year they were giving free park admission on your birthday, if you decided to buy an AP that day, they would deduct the cost of a 1-day ticket from your AP. Hi @matkat - thefe was recently a discussion on this. Basically, using lafuntickets.com is a bit of a gamble. How it works is that the company buys multiple day park hopper tickets and then "rents" the tickets out. You are responsible to return the ticket at the end of your use or you will be charged for it. Also, if Disney somehow managed to find out that you are using this method for admission they will confiscate the ticket because this is against their policy. I think that sums it up. P.S. - I had a friend use the service recently to buy one day park hoppers for him and his girlfriend, and everything went smoothly. He just showed up to their location the day of his trip (across the street from Disneyland, I believe). They took down his information and told him that it was the fourth day on the passes. Half-Asian here and married to a Chinese guy (non-ABC). Sadly, DL is not a place I go for good Asian food. I would head to Irvine or better yet, Monterey Park/Arcadia/San Gabriel/Koreatown.
