Haven't seen this posted but Bambi was just inducted by the Library of Congress and is now considered an American Treasure. It was inducted along with Forrest Gump and Silence of the Lambs as this years selections for films.
Our wonderful family gave us Disney gift cards to use on our trip. Only 9 more days. Time to start looking at weather patterns and planning and packing. Merry Christmas everyone. May your day truly be merry and bright!

Mickey and a DL cast member were grand marshals in our APS electric light parade last night. Very cool!!! It was too rainy and cold for us to ventur out, but we'll watch it on tv today. We are in Arizona by the way.

Yes! My daughter got stickers for using the potty and when she got enough she got to go to Disneyland! BUT Warning: we developed a problem using toilets in public places because of the Disney automatic flush toilets. Went to the Phx Zoo today saw the greatest tattoo. Mickey outline with like sun rays coming out of it, reminds me of Mickeys Fun Wheel. The zoo was full of DL t shirts too. Great to see all the love.

Working with Autistic kids, I understand where you're coming from. While its nice to teach them how to be patient, as you know.. routine is key for your little ones. Waiting for over an hour is probably not routine for them. You can ask for an arrow card which will allow you to bring them through fast past lines instead of the exit. This way, they probably wont realize that they're getting any sort of special treatment and they'll still have to wait in line-- just not as long. You don't have to use the pass if you see that they kids are doing well. It can add a lot of stress on you when they have meltdowns and in return, your stress causes them to become in uneasy. I know what you mean Rob. My brother was born with spina bifida and never walked. He died in 01' at the age of 35. My mother was a parent who fought for Americans with disabilities act so that a doorway might be wide enough, and ramp on a side walk, or just going to school with typically developing children. Never did we take more however, equality of the person with a disability and not a disabled person. Sadly, Tim never made it to Disney but I thank God that Disney has programs and staff who are sensitive and help ensure this remains a happy place for ALL who come.
