My name is Lindsey. I am married to a wonderful man and have a little boy and girl. I have grown up with Disney and I am repeating that with my kiddos. :)
My little princess had such a magical day thanks to some amazing CMs. She was curtsied to, walked hand in hand with Cinderella to the castle, and was asked to autograph an autograph book from another CM. She said it was the most magical d More...

This Pooh Bear was a great hugger... From earlier today.
I love it when the characters know how to give good hugs. There should be a hug test during the interview process lol - Poisen_Ivy258.0 #927 1-24-12 7:50PMLike(2) Reply

Hi! Has anyone stayed at the Double Tree by Disneyland? My husband gets a great government rate, but I am worried it it really far from the Parks. Any feedback would be great! :)
If its the Double Tree off of The City Drive, it's pretty nice. Yes, no where near walking distance, but it's a short drive to the Toy Story lot. It's a good spot if you get it for a great - BroncoBob38.0 #4063 11-27-11 6:29PMLike(1) Reply

That is st college and chapman. You would probably need a car or taxi if they don't have a shuttle. - Plumiegirl 3345.9 #10 11-27-11 6:33PM
There are other hotels in the area that may be cheaper w/your rate but usually lots of people and noisy. Fairfield just went through a makeover. Enjoy. We may also be in the park around then. - splashphotoCM880.9 #101 11-27-11 7:46PMLike Reply
I am honestly shocked at how cruel the people that are supposed to care about you can be. But MW cheers me up...so thank you everyone for sharing my love of Disney. :)
I am so sorry and sad for you!! That's the part that really makes it even more painful, isn't it, when it's those closest to us that hurt us? Know that there are people with common interests (an extended family, if you will) who care about you and wish you the best. :-) - missmissy7217.5 #7856 10-7-11 6:30PMLike Reply
We are planning on going to Disneyland during Christmas time and are very flexible as to when we can go...so if you could pick any day to go once the decorations are put up and when crowds are the lightest, when would you go? :)

I believe city hall stays open the entire time the park is open - brodysmommy243.7 #1065 8-24-11 10:16PMLike Reply
I think they do everything now at the ticket booths - BuzzLuv24.3 #4717 8-24-11 10:16PMLike Reply
City Hall is open as long as the park is. You may want to double check, I think that you get your actual tickets at one of the ticket booths at the park entrance. - garrlusdland52.2 #3708 8-24-11 10:20PMLike Reply

Need WOC seating advice. We are going to Disneyland for a week in September and haven't seen WOC yet and want to get the reserved seating. I like the price of the picnic baskets, but is Ariel's Grotto that much better and worth it? I woul More...
I have done both. Got a FP first thing in the morning and also the dinner at wine country. Here's the thing, even though you pay for a dinner at either restaurant or get a lunch, that doesn't garuantee a good seat. It's just a section and you still have to get there early to get a good view because you are sharing that section with the picnic lunch people and the people who eat at the two restaurants. In my opinion you get a better view with just getting a free fastpass. If you want to get wet and be close get there early and stand in the front. I prefer to hang back and stand behind the planters in front of TLM building. You get a wide unobnstructed view and kids can stand on the planters and see over adults. - DisneyBride°O°366.5 #381 8-18-11 7:07AMLike(1) Reply
Not worth it! Get to CA early & grab a fast pass! Any section is good as long as yur up against tge rails that way no1's standing in front of u! We bought the lunch's spent $60 and then found out about the FP! Not to mention we were staying at the Grand Californian & had early admittance & got better seating that way!!! Lol Good luck & enjoy! It's magical! - rmuniz_pixiedust6.5 #8582 8-16-11 8:14PMLike Reply
We did the picnics tonight and thought it was great! I mean, you have to eat anyway, and you can't beat that seating area. - GoldenEilonwy167.3 #2046 8-18-11 12:33AMLike Reply
Although the lunches were good. We got the yellow section I guess ok section. It was a good vantage point to see but my little ones 8 & 6 dud not see the show at all. They were too short. They were at but level. Perhaps getting there early would be a better option in getting a fp. - drmnofdsl18167.8 #2037 8-18-11 6:40AMLike Reply

I have never been a tattoo person, but I really would love to have one that somehow represents my family and love for Disney on my foot. If you could have a Disney tattoo, what would it be and where?
Well I'm currently working on my next Disney tat. It's the Cheshire leaving against the back of my neck with his famous grin holding a tea pot woth Mickey inside and it reads "were all mad here" I want it on the back of my neck so it's like when I have my hair up u can see him and when it's down he disappears :) - Kitkat-PINcess233.9 #1187 8-10-11 1:56PMLike Reply
