Good afternoon my MW fam! I need some advice :-) going to Disneyland with my 4 mo. Old in 16 days!!! Any advice? Also did I bring your own strollers? I've heard they get stolen? First time mommy! Thanks all in advance :-)
No one wants my ghetto hooptie double wide stroller! ;o) Enjoy your visit! - MomWithAJuiceBoxBuzz922.3 #94 3-1-13 4:42PMLike(3) Reply
My sister in law always takes her stroller and has never had an issue! She usually ties some brightly colored ribbon to the handle so that she can easily find hers in a crowd when we are done with a ride. - Belleslibrary230.3 #1240 3-1-13 4:07PMLike(1) Reply
Honestly the only strollers I've ever had stolen were the ones I rented from the park. It usually happened at night . But I learned after the first time to keep my receipt in my wallet and not in the stroller and it was always replaced free of charge. We buy a Mickey balloon and tie it to the stroller so it's easier to identify as ours . When my kids were very little I always took my own stroller cuz I'm a germ a phob , and no one ever messed with it . - eviljules281.3 #724 3-2-13 10:54AMLike Reply
Was there to celebrate my daughters 1st birthday, someone stole her mcclaren trimuph stroller with her happy first birthday Disney pin on the front seat. Nothing at all in the stroller of value- water bottle and nursing cape. We went back four times to Mater ride to see if someone put it back throughout the night but there was just the same cheap umbrella stroller left in the place of ours. I guess some felt they should trade up. The Disney staff kept telling me how nice I was being that usually people yell at them. I said it wasn't their fault but because it was my daughters first birthday- I just wanted to cry. It was also parked right next to the entrance where it was supposed to be. So sad. I think I was more upset about the fact someone stole it than it was actually gone. I mean, it had her birthday pin with her name on the front, my sons name written on the top of the canopy and a nursing cape layed into the fold of the canopy. The staff kept telling me , maybe someone mistook it. Hahaa! They knew what they were doing. At least they were kind enough to leave behind their stroller for us. Kids were happy but ruined the night for my husband and me. We have been pass holders for three years- we were always aware this could happen but always had positive experiences. Cast members were very helpful and sweet though. - Ihavedisneykids3.0 #32618 3-23-13 8:40AMLike Reply

A quick ? To all my fellow MWers. Has anyone ever stayed @ the Best western plus raffles inn & suites? I've read reviews and I'm not sure. Just wanted your opinions thanks!!!!
I've been. I have no complaints. The parking was a little limited but we went in June. The continental breakfast wasn't too bad. No scrambled eggs though they had boiled. But honestly, we only stayed in it 6 hours at a time and it was spent sleeping. Most of the time we were in the parks. They were doing some remodeling to the downstairs units also - cesium55529.7 #217 10-8-11 11:11AMLike Reply
Thanks cesium on orbitz everyone had good things to say except the parking issue. Did you really have to leave the car keys @ the front desk? - littlemermaid12125.5 #2643 10-8-11 6:30PMLike Reply
Why would you be asked to leave your car keys??? Um that's not right or legal...Dont ever leave your keys!!!! Unless they have Valet...then that is ok and normal. - Ms.Mouseketeer 1000.8 #88 10-10-11 1:28AM
@msmouseketeer & cesium: the reason why I asked is because a reviewer on orbitz posted that online. Said they had to leave their keys in the front so the car that they were blocking could be moved. Comforting to know I don't have to do that, was stressing about that for a bit - littlemermaid12125.5 #2643 10-10-11 2:28PMLike Reply
I guess you just don't want to block a car. There is a section where the cars are doubled up. But why not ask you to move it yourself instead of leaving the keys. - cesium55 529.7 #217 10-13-11 12:10AM

I know it's not Disney related but I think my bf of 6 yrs may be cheating on me. Wish I lived in la where I could go to dianeyland for a pick me up. Sure could use some Disney magic
I suggest, if he is indeed cheating, making your own magic & making him disappear from your presence. There's no need to hold onto to someone who is being that inconsiderate of your feelings. Let the villain go so that you have time to get over him, heal and get to know yourself better. The sooner you get through all of this the sooner you will be ready to meet someone who can treat you well & not take you for granted. Or in Disney terms, meet your true prince! Of course, this only applies if he really is cheating. - twinkle7.2 #8088 6-15-11 6:13PMLike Reply

Will be driving 6 hrs to get Disneyland tonight after work to go with my bf to celebrate our 6 yr anniversary! Can anyone please tell me how the weather is? Not sure what to pack. Thanks!
Good rule of thumb when going to the parks is to pack a sweater always. Nights are usually chilly anyways. - WeLoveDisneyland413.1 #314 5-19-11 12:47PMLike Reply
It'll be cold after dark, but park closes at8, shouldn't be that bad I suppose - landshark10.5 #6601 5-19-11 12:47PMLike Reply
Hey MWers!!!! My boyfriend and I are going to Disneyland next weekend to celebrate our 6 yr anniversary :) any suggestions on how we could make the trip romantic and unforgettable?
He could propose at Court of Angels ;) - shadowgamer1954.3 #37 5-9-11 2:18PMLike Reply
@drb195: that is an awesome idea!!! I will def try that :) we already made reservations at Blue Bayou :D
@ shadowgamer: it would be wonderful if he proposed!!! We have been talking about getting married later this year, so maybe... Will keep you all updated! - littlemermaid12125.5 #2643 5-9-11 7:17PMLike Reply
Reservations at Blue Bayou. Ask for Mickey and Minnie to show up with the ring you bought in hand and propose to him. Most CM's can help. - tzoretic3.5 #16985 5-9-11 7:21PMLike Reply
I'm probably gonna go for the 5k. - Mando267.9 #851 1-20-11 9:13PMLike Reply
I'm probably gonna hit the parks after the run too so thats another few miles right there. 5K is good for me. - ManBearPig417.0 #309 1-20-11 9:16PMLike Reply
Hello and welcome.. I always get the premium. It paysfor itself. Free parking discount and NO blackout dates.... - preciousmommy1.3 #40644 1-19-11 2:54PMLike Reply
Depends on how often you want to go. So Cal Select $ So Cal $$ Deluxe $$$ Priemium $$$$ don't forget to add the parking option and look at the blackout dates carefully. You can also make monthly payments which helps soften the blow. - CantWait1033.2 #84 1-19-11 2:55PMLike Reply
