I really don't think the whole raver thing will be a problem. Glow fest catered to that crowd more than elecTRONica did, in my opinion, and they never seemed to stand out or be an issue. Though I do remember the opening day for glow fest seeing a kid with a jacket with neo-glow teddy bears completely covering it, all the way down the sleeves. Disneyland is getting ready to put the smack down on fast pass cheaters! If you miss your slotted time, it will be the back of the line for you.
I think it's odd that people are miffed about this. They were being extremely forgiving by not enforcing the time window--too many people constantly cheated the system, so the FP system lost it's efficiency. If you think you might not make your time window, then don't take an FP. It was a priviledge, not an entitlement.
