Looking for a Sofia the First update. We'll be down the end of next month & our 3.5yr old is getting her first BBB makeover. Of course, she wants Princess Sofia which is so hard to find! Do they have the dress in the park yet? Any meet More...
hi! Only merch that I've seen of Sofia are pins, a few shirts and other small things, but no dress nor a meet and greet yet. But, they do carry the Disney princess merch in Fantasy Faire and Fantasyland - BaseballMickey_CM2803.3 #16 3-27-13 10:02AMLike Reply
My daughter loves Sofia too. The show was a lot of fun. Ill keep an eye out and let you know. I haven't seen any Sofia dresses yet. - LaPearleNoir561.5 #197 3-27-13 10:05AMLike Reply
If you have time I would check Etsy for Sophia the First stuff. I have seen a few amulets listed that look very pretty. You may also be able to find dresses on there as well. If you are a bit crafty you could maybe make a purple tulle skirt for your princess to wear? - letsrckthis161.5 #2129 3-27-13 10:14AMLike Reply
There is also Canyon RV park. Is off the 91. Never stayed there but it looks like the old fashion campgrounds and not just a parking lot. Trees, dirt, river. They have cabins too. - SueBayou2012.0 #34 6-24-12 5:24PMLike Reply
If you are willing you can stay down at the beach. Huntington beach has a nice camping area (bolsa chica state beach) and it's about a 20 min drive to Disneyland depending on traffic. :) - disneymommy0910233.9 #1183 6-24-12 5:25PMLike Reply
Oh that might be perfect! We tow a pop-up so I don't mind driving a little. - marsdenmom 14.6 #5720 6-24-12 7:18PM
Anaheim. RV village. is walking distance to park and we always camp there. - momoftrips 16.9 #5387 6-24-12 7:48PM
FYI for Bay Area MWs-- Southwest is having a 72-hour sale on flights out of Sac & SFO to SNA for only $49 (one way, comes out to about $100 RT) for mid-August to either sept or oct, I think.
Just read the email, you can fly till 11/14!! - UrsulasTwin297.1 #623 6-12-12 8:35AMLike(1) Reply
Anyone know what FP rides are on what systems? I found a list online once but can't find it now. Trying to put together a FP strategy for our summer trip😳😜
If I understood this correctly the two parks run separate and roger rabbit in toon town is separate from the rest of DL. My trick is to try to be there for opening rope drop before it gets wicked crowded and keeping a good eye on FP window times. Plus clearing one land before moving to the next so I'm there isn't too much downtime going back and forth. Hope this helps have an awesome trip. - PopcornYeti377.6 #359 5-25-12 6:03AMLike(1) Reply

Thats pretty much it. If you google fast pass on the website ask.com it will explain it very well. - Gabster1 200.0 #1630 5-25-12 7:06AM
I'm not sure, but I think they linked them all now. Sorry I'm not more help. - Evilstitch328.3 #480 5-25-12 5:24AMLike Reply
Thanks! We were just there with friends who wanted to go all over the place & my inner OCD was going crazy over the inefficiency! I kept my mouth shut (& of course still had a great time) but it took three days to do see everything we usually see in a day or two. - marsdenmom14.6 #5720 5-25-12 6:13AMLike Reply
Lol. You sound like me. I always have a plan in my head as far as knocking out all the big rides first thing. It's a Disney ocd thing and i get teased like crazy! But everyone always has a good time :-) - JNewie 226.4 #1286 5-25-12 6:58AM
Same here but I try to just go with everyone's flow. But in my head. I like do do things different. - juicee 24.6 #4679 5-25-12 7:54AM
Why do I read that other "fan site" (that shall go unnamed)?! Such a downer! Makes me feel like getting APs was a bad idea, the parks r too crowded to be worth visiting, etc. Sucks the magic right out of it! Time to get my park news so More...
I agree that the article was a bit harsh; but it was honest nonetheless. I like MP because of that.
To those that say: "I love disneyland no matter how crowded it is.". Let me ask: Will it still be magical when it takes an hour just to find a parking spot, to get on your favorite rides, to purchase a dolewhip or churro? Because that's where the park is headed is what I got from the article. - rebray10245.1 #1048 5-22-12 11:17AMLike Reply
☺aw thanks! I'll tell you my littlest would be a lot cuter if he'd fall asleep right now... Too much sleeping today at the park! - marsdenmom14.6 #5720 5-16-12 1:19AMLike Reply
Just saw Voices of Liberty is coming to DL! I'm so excited! They were my favorite part of Epcot when I visited WDW last year. Can't wait to see them again! 🇺🇸
It's official, we're upgrading our tickets to AP next month! Already planning big trips for May, Sept, Dec, & March with hopefully a few quick trips in between. ✨so excited!!✨ Any insider AP tips I should know about?
Don't forget about the discounts on food and merchandise. Be sure to show your AP when purchasing those. - ScooterMike1959.8 #35 4-12-12 7:18AMLike(1) Reply
If you lose it for whatever reason, it's $20 for a replacement. You do however, get a complimentary ticket once for the whole year if you left it a home or whatever. AP discounts are being cut sometime next month, so take advantage of that. Congrats on your decision to get an AP! ☺ - iFramedRogerRabbit1956.2 #36 4-12-12 7:16AMLike Reply
Do you mean the 10 or 15% off (depending on the AP) you get at various restaurants/stores? That's not continuing?? :( That was one of the reasons I was considering getting one, even though I'm 1,000 miles away. - PeachKay 310.6 #554 4-12-12 7:19AM
They've been planning to cut it off for a little over year now. There's talk that Premiums will still have the discount, but even that will be cut down to 10% from 20%. - iFramedRogerRabbit 1956.2 #36 4-12-12 7:42AM
Yes, food and merchandise discounts are great! Also, APs sometimes get great deals on Disney hotels! The prices are listed online in the AP section of the DL website, I believe. Premium is the best deal for people who don't live in Southern California because they don't have any blackout days and your parking is included. - Spoonful_O_Sugar435.8 #283 4-12-12 7:22AMLike Reply
They moved it back to the end of the year the last I checked - acesmagic113.2 #2842 4-12-12 7:55AMLike Reply
Anyone know if we decide to upgrade our 3-day hoppers to an AP (yayyy!!) if we can stil do the monthly payment plan? (We're eligible for it where we live in NorCal.)

What is the parade route? Are there any good places to watch from other than main st?
By its a small world is a great spot, especially the evening one because of the lights of small world behind it - MarshaMouse2834.6 #15 11-25-11 1:57PMLike(1) Reply
ask the CM where its starting from, most likely small world. if its starting there you can go right across from SW in that little area and its usually empty. on tuesday when i went i got there 15 mins before and it was still empty. the little spot next to pixie hallow is also nice since the parade will be passing right in front of you. - chris.2507.1 #24 11-25-11 1:59PMLike Reply

Another thought, I wish there were more boy-related meet & greet areas. We've waited hours for the princesses & fairies for our girls, but why not a Toy Story themed one? - marsdenmom14.6 #5720 3-9-11 9:41AMLike Reply

Hey guys been lurking for a while now... Just wondering what the general consensus is on crowd levels the first week of May (tues, weds, Thurs in park), and what's the best directly across the street hotel?
Thanks everyone! Looks like we'll actually be there midweek, second week of May. I can't wait!! We're surprising our kids :) Going with friends, should be an amazing time. Still calling around/researching hotels, thanks for all the leads! - marsdenmom14.6 #5720 2-23-11 2:21PMLike Reply
