The dress code is more relaxed for lunch than dinner . But it's fun to dress up ;) try to stay in the moment and enjoy yourself . There are souvenirs in a glass curio cabinet that you can purchase if interested . Remember it's a dining experience so don't feel rushed . Best hotel for more than 6-8 people? Planning a trip with some family coming in from out of town and trying to figure out the room thing.
We just stayed at the desert palms hotel and we had a suite that was only 100$ a night had 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa they have bigger rooms too that also have kids bunk beds. It was a great place to stay. I ate there for Mother's Day brunch this year. It was a surprise and my kids were with us. I would have rather gone without them, but it wasn't too bad. My oldest fell asleep, and my youngest is no trouble. We got lucky I guess. Yes the Disney Store is open. Also visit the Walt Disney Museum. You must walk pier 39, take a cable car. Have a drink at the Top of the Mark (Mark Hopkins Hotel). At night there is an AMAZING dueling piano bar at the Irish House! They guys that play the piano and sing are awesome! If you have kids, The Exploratorium is fun and the Zeum is cool!!!
