Has anyone bought their pass from costco? How much does it cost and how many days is it good for?
I don't know that much about it what I do know is that it's cheaper than buying at the ticket booth and online.. HTH.. - yvetteissogoofy162.1 #2123 1-8-12 10:17AMLike Reply
Just sat down to watch the rose bowl parade to see if Disneyland entered a float. No! Why are they only showing 1982? Did something happen that we can't see this years parade? Weird!
The reason they won't have the parade on a Sunday is because way back when, the parade would spook horses tied up outside the churches. Obviously no one rides horses to church now, but the tradition still stands. - PonyGrrl262.4 #890 1-1-12 12:28PMLike(2) Reply
Oh I thought it was because it was Sunday - church day in general. But that makes sense. - PrincessDuckie 576.0 #189 1-1-12 12:36PM
It's definitely tomorrow, my son is marching in it. He is going to be at the very beginning with the RCC band and he will be holding the letter "D" in rose parade! Disney is performing with them too :o) Go Jake!!! - SoCalJean170.2 #2000 1-1-12 12:45PMLike(2) Reply

I'm guessing it's because everyone involved with the Rose Parade decided to go to Disneyland instead, which would explain the massive crowd at the parks. - gerardlim5712.1 #6196 1-1-12 1:30PMLike Reply
I collect them too. eBay is good. You can usually find them for $10-20. Some are quite high...Elliott went for over $100 recently! Also try thrift stores, swap meets and antique malls. - Gia782.1 #118 12-27-11 10:35PMLike Reply

Watching a video of Disneyland in the 50's. Did you know that you could go fishing over at Tom sawyer's Island catch real live fish and keep them? Imagine walking around Disneyland all day with dead fish?
Lol, think how fast you could clear out a line tho. - DisneyDawn415.2 #309 11-19-11 10:39AMLike(2) Reply
Lol! I never thought of that. You probably Weren't allowed to take dead fish on rides. - topdisneymom239.7 #1114 11-19-11 10:20PMLike Reply
I was watching some old videos of Disneyland back in th 50's. I had taped it off of an old show called "Disney Vault". Use to be on the Disney Channel, back in the day when we had to pay for the Disney channel. I even have opening day footage. - topdisneymom239.7 #1114 11-20-11 8:56AMLike Reply

Has anyone ever rented an electric wheel chair at Disneyland? My family keeps trying to talk me into it because my hip starts hurting after an hour of walking around the park. My fear is that I might run over someone! LOL!
My mom always needed one to get around, she ran many people over. The problem is people are dragging (or being drug by) their kids and never look down. It's difficult to get thru crowds because people will step right in front of the wheelchair and practically stick their feet right under the chair and ultimately, the wheels. Be prepared with patience but rest assured, even if you do run over a foot or two, while it smarts a little, you'll cause no permanent damage and may teach a couple people to watch where they are walking, I've learned my lesson several times growing up at the side of her powerchair lol - ljoy5.1 #10248 10-9-11 1:50PMLike(1) Reply

If you are going for several days and staying nearby you can rent from an offsite company for much less and have it delivered to your hotel. The scooters are smaller and easier to manuever too. Practice on the scooters at walmart or target before you go. I use one for multi day trips because of arthritis in my hips and it makes my days so much more fun not being in pain and slowing everyone down. - kerbear205.5 #1540 10-9-11 2:07PMLike Reply

My gramdaughter lost her annual pass last month. I got her a new pass. When we got home she found the lost pass. Now we don't know which is the good pass. When we go tomorrow should we go to guest services or to the main entrance?
Good question. I don't know but I would bring both passes and go to guest services. - CravingDisney150.1 #2288 1-24-11 1:28PMLike Reply
The more I think though I would think the new pass would be the eligible one since the other was reported lost. The new one should get her through the main gates. - CravingDisney150.1 #2288 1-24-11 1:32PMLike Reply
Use the replacement one. The old one will make the maingate cranky. I wonder though if the replacement could be nixed and you could get back a twenty. Doubt it though. Try calking and asking. Good luck. - Butterlina1307.4 #61 1-24-11 2:00PMLike Reply
