It was at a recycling plant in Fullerton off Anaheim Blvd. A few of us were down the street from it playing laser tag and we could see the smoke. I arrived around 8:05, thinking I was late. However, the parks opened at 9:00! I got in, got my wristband, waited for rope drop, and actually got to ride RSR before it broke down!

I've had pins nearly drop of that are locked with the allyn wrench backings! I'm a little obessive now about checking my pins all the time, and I wear my lanyard under my shirt when I get in and out of rides. Everyone had their first meet up, and knew pretty much NO ONE. When you're a newcomer, and you go to your first meet up, it can be a little intimidating because it seems like everyone knows everyone except you - but sometimes, that's not true - many people don't know others, but are very friendly and welcoming - and that's where the friendships start. Sometimes searching for meet ups for that day would be cool.. or maybe even starting your own meet up. But it's always nice to meet MWers, and through that one (or few), you meet more, and that's how it would seem that everyone knows everyone. TIP: When you're at a meet up, don't be shy to introduce yourself to those you don't know - the whole point of meet ups is to enjoy it with Disney friends, and MAKE Disney friends - we all know that is what it's for - so the initial introduction is less awkward than it would be randomly on the street. TIP: IF you see someone who looks lost or alone at their maybe first meet up - say hi and be the one to introduce yourself - make them feel welcome, and more friendships can be made... if all else fails, just creepily DM people at random. Yeah, I was looking for the green apple ones the other day and couldn't find them anywhere in either park! I remember a few years ago they stopped selling them and only had cherry and mixed bags the they brought them back. I sure hope they're not gone for good.
