I'm there with you! I weighed for real this morning - not as a "guest" on my scale (which doesn't record the weight), but on my official record from summer. I've gained 8.4 lbs, which is okay (5 of those I've gained in the last few days - probably last night! - so they should come off fast)! In previous years I start off the New Year having gained back 15 lbs, which made me feel defeated before I even started so I would continue to eat until around March when I got serious (and by that time have gained another 15 lbs!). So it's back to South Beach Diet this morning, new batteries in the eliiptical display box. I'm all set! Happy New Year to you too... Does anyone remember those deep fried dough balls that they used to sell in New Orleans Square? They used to be sold at the window outside of Pirates ( a long time ago- 80's maybe 90's) Can you still get them anywhere in the park?
