Yahoo! I am glad the package made it safe and sound! I delayed sending the package to you till after the SD Meetup so I could get a card signed and collect the extra MWer goodies to send to you. I can't take credit for the preschool booklet or the kids cards, they were actually gathered by a friend of a friend who heard what I was doing. And the MW sticker was actually given to me by Gia0330, but I RAKed it forward, my husband (ex-military) thought it would look good displayed on a piece of equiptment. Best flag retreat I've seen. They called out actively serving and veterans. I stepped forward when the All American Band started to play the Marines' Hymn. My brother told me that people were pointing at me.

I saw a flag retreat once and it was very special A man in a power chair came up next to my friend and I and we offered his wife the seat next to us. I teared up when he got up and saluted, because he reminded my of one of my best friends who's in the army right now. I remember thanking him when the ceremony was over and he seemed really happy about it.
