YAY! The no fruit rule was the hardest part for me too, but I managed with s/f jello! I'm still only eating 1 serving of fruit a day (and no other carbs) because my weight slowed to a crawl when I added them back in. I've only got 4 lbs to go (I've lost 26 lbs to date) and when I reach my goal I'll slowly start adding the carbs in. It's probably not the best way to do it, but I wasn't satisfied with 1/2 lb loss per week! Hi Erica! So glad to hear that you're going to try the diet! Bengal would be fine as long as you don't get the kabobs with the sauce. For b'fast, eggs, meat and maybe sliced tomatos, for lunch/dinner any meat with veggies and salad (any dressing that has "balsamic" in it is safe! - watch out for some of the vinaigrettes - they can have sugar in them. Welcome ericalynn! I'm a life member of JC but I stopped going. I joined 3 yrs ago and since then I've gained and lost the same 30 lbs twice! I think my problem with it (besides the food being way too expensive) is that while you're on it you're eating pizza and pasta and cheesecake! The plan does nothing to help you lose the cravings for all the things that made you gain weight in the first place! It's great as long as you continue to eat their food... but not practical in the real world. In April I went on the South Beach Diet and have lost 20 lbs to date. Even better is that I'm now eating "good" REAL food (nothing processed/packaged since I started). It was hard at first (JC is SO easy) but I think in the long run it'll be worth it. Not sure about your "times" question, but it may have to do with the DL walking route that was developed. You can find it under "Resources". Good luck! I was suckered into Vinyls. It's been going fine so far. Have a total of 6 as of now. One's the Runaway Brain topper. Anyway, I think they're actually decently priced. I'd actually say pins are expensive. I trade those, too. And you really don't feel like you're getting much for the amount of money you've paid for them.
