They have gluten free offerings at (im pretty sure) all of the Burger/sandwhich and Pizza places. I just went with my gluten free friend last weekend and Taste Pilots Grill has both gluten free buns and fries (and a pretty awesome burger topping bar!). The sit down restaurants will for sure have options, and a chef will generally come out and speak with you about it. Have a fun day! - dethrizu 301.1 #988 2-9-14 9:09AMLikeReply
Ask at the train station first thing in the morning. They keep a list and give you a return time. You get the tickets when you return at your designated time. The whole thing takes about an hour but well worth it. - jackiehamilton 244.1 #1513 7-7-12 10:21AMLikeReply
We tried on our last trip at city hall and the CM said they were only for Club 33 members or AP holders. - mousekepuggie 155.8 #2736 7-7-12 10:37AMLikeReply

Can someone please explain the BTMRR "goat effect"?
If you keep your eyes on the goat with the dynamite as you go around the corner, you'll feel a "swoop" or a tickle in your tummy from the g-forces :) - Spoonful_O_Sugar 669.2 #335 6-29-12 10:08PMLike(1)Reply
i tend to think it best if people just go out and try it for themselves. just stare at the special goat the whooooole time when he makes his appearance. to achieve the full effect, you have to sit turned around as much as possible. Don't ever take your eyes off the goat - SoloSiyoNqoba 601.7 #376 6-29-12 10:07PMLikeReply
It works best the farther back you sit on the train. - Boundin 821.6 #252 6-29-12 10:10PMLikeReply
Hey, MWers. I'm taking a "free" trip to DL in 7/7 (Club 33 members gave us dinner reservations and park passes go my b-day), and I'm planning to make this a special trip by doing things I've never done before. Any unique suggestions?
Some things on my list: ride the Lilly Belle, meet Oscar at Carnation Cafe, buy a hat (I've only ever had ears), meet BaseballMickey_CM, ride the carriage down Main Street, eat a hunny cupcake, beignets, and have dinner at Club 33! - Amy2220 14.7 #9268 6-28-12 5:14PMLikeReply
Actaully, they're not in the Golden Horseshoe right now; they're performing at the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree in the Festival Arena in Frontierland. They perform usually on the hour starting at 11:15am - BaseballMickey 8160.1 #13 6-27-12 10:35PMLikeReply
Hey, MWers! Going to DL/DCA on 7/7. Making a list of things I've never done. I've *only* had breakfast at Carnation Cafe. Any other recommendations? Maybe I can still go to the Cafe and meet Oscar. That would be new!
I understand Oscar now works at Jolly Holiday. Make sure to ride the Lilly Belle.. Special train car on the DLRR. Go early to the Main Street Station and nicely ask a CM if you can take a ride. - MickeyFan 1286.5 #151 6-26-12 9:05PMLikeReply
Hey, MWers! Friends of mine were nice enough to make me reservations at Club 33 for my 40th birthday, *and* they included park tickets! Since this is a "free" trip, I'm going to do things I've never done before. I have lots of ?s for you More...
Yes, it's perfectly okay to get a birthday button. Just stop by City Hall or the info booth on Main Street in the morning - BaseballMickey 8160.1 #13 6-24-12 8:40AMLike(1)Reply
Just go to city hall in dl or chamber of commerce in dca and let them know you are there celebrating your birthday, they will give you a button no problem :) - Pixarprincess 544.5 #419 6-24-12 8:39AMLikeReply
It's fine to get a birthday pin early. I thought about getting a retirement pin the last time I was there, but I decided 30 years early might be pushing it. - LittleAprilShowers 587.7 #381 6-24-12 9:16AMLikeReply

@GummyThongs Thanks for the input. We don't have kids, so we're not really geared towards that. But it's ok to have an adult-oriented meet up, isn't it? Maybe I should just advertise as such? - Amy2220 14.7 #9268 2-24-11 6:08PMLikeReply

Is anyone else disappointed by this year's Girl Scout Cookies? The lemon cremes hardly have any cream. The Trefoils are dry and crumbly like sand, the Samoas are wimpy. And the cookies and boxes are smaller than they used to be, I think!
Definatly smaller boxes it seems...but delicious as always :) - MouseWife86 165.8 #2575 2-22-11 7:15PMLikeReply
There are 2 different companies that make Girl Scout Cookies; ABC Baking Company & Little Brownie Baker. So it could be that the company that made yours were subpar this year. I haven't received my order from my niece yet so I can't tell you if mine aren't as good this year. - VikkiMouse 182.2 #2323 2-22-11 7:37PMLikeReply
I think it was last year or the year before that they said instead of raising prices they would short a few cookies in each box. I just got mine today, but haven't tried them. Samoas and dosidos! - bluefairy 643.8 #350 2-22-11 8:18PMLikeReply

She was gloriously in character. Very regal, gave off the air that she couldn't be bothered but posed for pics if you asked. She also arched her left eye row dramatically right before the pics.
