I live in good old Washington state, but my sister lives in OC so I get to visit at least once a year. I have three kiddos that keep me super busy. I'm an elementary school teacher as well.
So is the grace period over for young MWers when they turn 18? I don't know if I'm just cranky tonight, but oh my!

Oahu is amazing, there's Pearl Harbor and Waikiki and the Dole Plantation. If you end up there I recommend the Paradise Cove Luau, it's a fun experience. Also, take a tour of Ioloni Palace, the only royal residence in the US. Plus, Hawaii 5-O films on Oahu! - CaliGirlNiki32.6 #4252 1-25-12 12:11AMLike Reply
Oahu is not my favorite, but there is so much to do like CaliGirl mentioned. Try renting a car and driving up to North Shore....besides the Dole Plantation there's Kualoa Ranch. LOST and a lot of other TV shows and movies were filmed there. You can horseback ride, take a ATV or bus tour...and it's beautiful. There's also the Polynesian Cultural Center which is a fascinating look at the Pacific Island cultures. - Gia782.1 #119 1-30-12 10:45PMLike Reply

What are the qualifications for being a Plaid? Do you have to work for DL for a certain period of time? Do they make more than most cast members? See, everyone wants to know who is with the plaid. I want to know about the plaid. :)
All that money to reseve a plaid and they get paid the same. It looks like such a prestigious position that should be paid triple. - HotDiggityDogDaddy1112.0 #74 10-11-11 8:26AMLike Reply

It's not terribly new. It was there when we went in 2006. Their Pooh is located right in the middle of Fantasyland, next to Peter Pan. It tends to get much longer lines than our Pooh that's tucked away in Critter Country. Same exact ride, though. - bunnymama331.6 #460 7-29-11 6:39PMLike Reply

Stop by guest services at either park they have list for what you can have and where it is. I am gluten free and I an almost positive they have lists for dairy free etc. - sewgirl340.5 #427 7-28-11 3:50PMLike Reply

Don't think it's illegal. Cedar Point like most theme parks just don't allow it since they charge for photos. Also the monitors are not in the open, they are at the photo purchase location. - Coaster9128.8 #1 7-23-11 12:01AMLike Reply
