Woohoo, my next trip is in a week!! Question about a lunch reservation: I want to eat at the Carthay Circle Restaurant while I'm there- do you think I'll need a reservation?
Yes I would make one just to be safe! :) - CMseashelly32.6 #4342 9-21-12 9:06AMLike Reply
oh, and enjoy your trip! :) - CMseashelly 32.6 #4342 9-21-12 9:06AM
If you want any control over what time you eat the answer is yes. We ate lunch there last week with no reservation. We were told to come back at 2:30 and that they wouldn't take walkins until then - Pixarprincess531.5 #219 9-21-12 9:06AMLike Reply
Ahh, good to know! I don't care when I eat but if this is what happens when you go without reserving a table then maybe I'll make a reservation. - Sheilamo 318.2 #548 9-21-12 2:42PM

I was pretty surprised myself, but no one seemed to care there was a loose dog and I haven't been there enough to know whether or not to be concerned about it so I shrugged it off but it's been bugging me ever since we got back today and i've had a chance to think about it. - Sheilamo 318.2 #548 3-16-12 12:51AM
Service dogs go potty wherever. :) LOL We were in Critter Country and a service dog stopped and just started peeing. You could tell he was holding it, and his owner gave him a stern punishment. We felt sorry for the poor little fella. :( - PeachKay310.8 #571 3-17-12 12:43PMLike Reply
I have been seeing A LOT of ppl with dogs lately. I guess that's the thing now? These aren't service dogs either. Little poodles in sweaters, wrapped in blankets and hanging out of purses does no one a service. Unless of course they sniff out good deals or bark at pick pockets? Is there anything official on this yet, as far as your dog sighting or these purse dogs I've seen? - 559MickeyLover268.4 #858 3-17-12 12:58PMLike Reply

Interesting, I would also like more info on this. Besides the cats, never heard of a dog staying at the park.. - MagicalLand385.7 #355 3-16-12 1:16AMLike Reply
I would think that if they allowed an unleased dog in the park DL would be violating some city ordinance somewhere. It might have been a dog allowed) as a service animal that got spooked. It's the only scenario that I can think of. - garyknowz19.7 #7015 3-16-12 3:11AMLike Reply
I highly doubt its a service dog. I could not leave my service dog behind. I would be staying in that park till someone caught her. Besides it would take that dog a long time to get out of his vest as well of that was the case. I'm so curious where the dog came from that's for sure. - tswift13_Baileys 13.5 #6048 3-16-12 3:22AM

That is a shame. I know that the Wine Country Trattoria was very accommodating to my needs. I have heard iffy things about Ariel's Grotto. But I am really glad you did not let it ruin your trip :D - tiggertwin319.1 #542 10-19-11 6:46PMLike Reply
I think we need to have a moment of silence for Steve Jobs, for without him, Pixar never would have been able to give us all the wonderful movies we love and cherish. Rest in Peace, Mr. Jobs.
Do they really do World of Color Shows after California Adventure closes?! I bought the WOC Dinner for October 13th and the schedule on Disney's website says DCA closes at 8:00 and that the WOC show is at 8:15. Is that right?
I have been to an 1115 when they were already closed of I remember correctly. I'd be inside the park at closing time just incase. You'd probably get in anyway with your pass though. - Tom4013.8 #7 9-24-11 8:56PMLike Reply
So I was wondering , what do the chefs at a restaurant do if their restaurant goes down for refurbishment? Where is everyne that usually works Blue Bayou, on a long vacation or relocated elsewhere? I'm curious if anyone knows.
I was at Blue Bayou the night it closed and asked cuz I'm curious (sounds better than nosy), some took vacations others went to different restaurants. - sewgirl340.5 #444 9-23-11 4:02PMLike Reply

We have APs . They and the Halloween tickets were scanned when we went in about 3 p.m. We got our wristbands and candy bags at a table before we went through the tunnel. It's the wristbands that are important. That's what is looked for later in the evening. As long as you have a wristband (if that's what they are using this year) you shouldn't have to go back. - cinderelli328.4 #496 9-7-11 1:41PMLike Reply

The tickets says that entry may begin at 4, I don't know if they give the wrist bands starting then - bigben1138310.5 #574 9-7-11 6:54PMLike Reply
Cool, thanks for the info, you guys! I guess I'll just ask when I get there if I can pick up my wrist band from inside the park.
