@sr_citizen_mouse_ranger....I was their ride home, so I knew they'd find me eventually! They also said it was my fault - if I hadn't been checking in on MW so much my phone wouldn't have died! It was 10:30pm, so I just shopped, then went to the car and plugged my phone in. They said they were leaving after Fantasmic, but instead went on Matterhorn, ST, SP without me! Question, this will be our first time seeing WOC, and i've seen some posts about getting blue fastpass, and red fastpass, and getting preferred seating through a lunch or dinner. Can someone please explain the differences and which one wo More...
Yellow is the best if you want to be up front and feel very immersed, red is good if you want to get very wet, and blue os good if you want to see it from a distance to see the entire scope of the show... For $40 you can get a dinner either at ariel's grotto or wine country trattoria and also get what they call "preferred seating" and it is centered but but you can't get on the to the waterline to get front row... (I've never had any experience with the preferred seating because I've never tried it)... The fastpasses are distributed from the grizzly river run fastpass queue (make sure you try to get there early) in the following order: blue, yellow, then red. Tip: try to get there at least 15-25 minutes early prior to the FIRST listed time on your fastpass if you want front row seats... One final option is to go to the cove bar, pay $10 and watch it from there... They have food and space heaters but you won't get wet or feel immersed.... IMO, Blue is the best fastpass. You can sit on the bridge by Ariel's Grotto for an unobstructed view of all 3 screens (and you don't get wet!). Blue is handed out first, and they open the park 30 mins before DCA opens. So I would get there early and get those fastpasses!
