Try Pinocchio parking lot... Or park in DTD and get your time card validated at one of the restaurants... You get 3 hours free and another 2hrs with validation... Take the DTD monorail into the park, and then if you need more than 5 hours at the parks... Take the monorail back out and get in your car, make a few turns around the resort, re-enter your car for another 3 hours or 5 with validation... Any MWer in San Diego there is a store that has a bunch of Disney Merchandise. Off Rosecrans by the midway post office. Carl's Jr parking lot!
You don't have to go to SD to get these there are two stores out here that carry them including the 50 anniversay gold mickey ears. One store is the city of chino 60fwy off reservoir make a right u will see it on left side next to mattels. The other is off the 91 fwy exit orangethrope make a left it will be on left side. We stayed there in '08, it was nice. It is a bit of a walk from the DTD Monorail station, but close to CA if you cut thru the Grand Californian. Depending on how long you're staying you might want to look into adding the concierge lounge to your room. They have a continental bkfast, snacks for lunch and appetizers at dinner time. So I finally got around to see The Boys: The Sherman Brother's Story. I love it, what other Disney documentary do you recommend? I've seen Walt & El Grupo, Man behind the myth, and Disneyland treasures: secrets, stories and magic.
We had this same thing happen yesterday while at the parks. We saw a wait time of 15 minutes and thought it was open to all despite it being an AP only event day.
