My daughter's Angel cover came in today. It's going to be a great after school surprise. To keep it completely DL related, the pic on her phone is my nephew at DCA with his first Mickey balloon.

I'm glad the girls are happy. The afghan is just single crochet, the border is a cross stitch crochet stitch if that makes sense. The Mickey pattern is just a cross stitch pattern that came with the afghan book. Any cross stitch pattern can be done on the afghan though. As long as the afghan is done in single crochet it will work, that way each X is even of the cross stitch pattern. I'm working on getting pictures, convert to cross stitch, then put on afghan. A lot of hours in the blanket. His accident was in the news, but I didn't allow the media any access. So no follow up news. Not impressed with our local media- sort of vultures.
