I know that deal also gets these children who live with 10 others in their homes who can't afford much, much less DL. I know this because I teach most of them and when I give them a map they treat it like gold, because for most, they won't experience it until they, themselves can afford it when they grow up. I think it's great and totally worth it. Made to order omelettes, pastries, all the bacon you can possibly want, lox, cream cheese and bagels, and great character interaction. Great selection of food for all:eggs,bacon,sausage,pancakes,Mickey waffles,selection of fruits,melon&banana smoothies, made to order omelettes,pastries,cheeses,cereal,yogurt...just to name a few =) My fam and I go here every visit. First thing you do when you enter is take a group pic with Mickey which is great cause you're not standing in a line or rushing to eat or interrupting you meal to take a pic with Mickey.Then towards the end of your meal,they bring your pic to you to purchase. The characters are not a lot, but decent.My kids love Lilo&Stitch so they were happy. They walk around and when they play "surfing" music, they pull kids up to the front to dance. Also,I'm not sure if it's actually allowed or the server just did it, but I asked for a box for "leftovers" and he gave us one.So we packed up the box with easy to eat things so we had snacks to take inside the park for the rest of the day. I got to go today to the Carsland preview because my sister works for Disney Animation. Ā She has been involved in every movie since Chicken Little. Ā What gives me more excitement is how proud I am of her! Ā Working 14 hour days and having to deal with the daily grind of red tape and budget cuts while trying to make a project. Everyone has a right to their opinion, I just worry about 2 APs, but others have a family worth, I wouldn't put anyone down because they can't afford it. I'm a teacher, I don't get paid a whole lot so honestly I wish I was a rich profession so it wouldn't be an issue but for some it is, and we need to respect that. I have mixed feelings. I can understand why people are complaining. I can't even imagine having a big family and trying to afford a trip. I'm a single mom with one kid, and I couldn't afford our first trip til she was 16....but I didn't begrudge anyone who could. I was lucky. When the price increase was announced, I had already been actively saving for our next trip so I went ahead and bought APs. Now I'm hoping we will get out two to three trips out of them to make it worthwhile. š I am not rich, by any means...but I live simply. I drive a car that's paid for, as does my daughter. I live in a small, crappy house. š My money goes to our travel. I guess I'll keep doing it til I can't anymore because we were so late getting started!
