This year we decided to not only cut out junk (fast food, candy, chips, alcohol, pizza, etc) but to also try to only eat food that is natural and that we have some kind of hand in preparing--no fast food, deli sandwiches, Starbucks, restaurant meals, etc. Our society is so disconnected from the preparation of our food, and the idea is to appreciate the blessing of whole, natural food more.
