Hi everybody! My name is Ian and I began my love affair with Disneyland in 2010 when I got my first annual pass. I live in San Diego where I work full time and study music in my community college. My user name, MJisMM means Michael Jackson is Mickey Mouse
I LOVE Chip's costume. So cute! And Sir, don't mind Chip, he's just looking for his handcuffs, they may have gotten lost in your long, wavy locks! - NotNKansasAnymor174.4 #1934 9-21-12 6:19PMLike Reply
Does anyone know what time they close there? - lilo84374.5 #366 9-21-12 6:44PMLike Reply
Non disney, but I have a question for you san francisco mwers. I'm goin to san francisco on december 30th, I will have the day to myself so I was wondering what are some cool things to do. Also what can I expect the weather to be like at More...
Disney family museum is up there, also get the San Francisco only vinyls from Disney Store. - shadowgamer1954.3 #37 10-27-11 1:11PMLike(1) Reply
weather: cold, early morning fog- possible rain but that is just a guess from years past...where in the City will you be depends on what there is to do ..will you have a car or depend on public transportation ect...Lots to do in SF! - yellowtonka237.7 #1136 10-27-11 1:05PMLike Reply
If you'll be on BART I suggest getting of at Powell street station. It's the gateway to Westfield mall(which is huge!!) as well as union square! Plus there's a Starbucks directly adjacent to the station, so you can get your coffee before heading out into the SF fog!! :) - melissamouse93238.4 #1129 10-27-11 2:57PMLike Reply
Thanks for the tips, I will be flying in and I will have to depend on public transportation... and my feet. But looks like everyone says go to the museum, so I just might. Also I'm a music student, so is there any cool music related stuff? - MJisMM31.0 #4326 10-27-11 2:58PMLike Reply
Quick question, for days with the halloween party, when are regular guests asked to leave?
I believe it's around 6/6:30? And the party starts at 7? Can anyone confirm? - Tink4ever25.1 #4658 10-6-11 12:25PMLike Reply
I believe they are asked to leave around 7. I'm going off of a post one of the CM's on MW had posted a week or so ago. Hope that helps! =) - MissMamyMouse175.0 #1927 10-6-11 1:28PMLike Reply
The Friday parties start at 7, Monday's at 6. At that time you will start to be escorted out unless you have your wristbands - Pixarprincess531.4 #215 10-6-11 2:04PMLike Reply
There are also wristband checkpoints, so you can't make a loop around the park once it starts. - bluefairy627.1 #174 10-6-11 4:30PMLike Reply
Lol I saw those last time I rode it I couldn't stop laughing till we started swinging and realized they were a terrific idea. - nappingbeauty 269.4 #830 8-6-11 10:36AMLike Reply

Good morning all! I have a quick question for the Vegas peeps; I am going to vegas in a couple weeks and wanted to stop at DL on my way, so my question is what way do y'all drive to get there and how long does it take? TIA
I go the 15 S- 210 W- the 57 S. (That's what I do because I have family off the 210.) This last time it took me just under 4 hours from Disneyland to Las Vegas with no traffic. Have fun! - disney32116.5 #5465 7-21-11 8:22AMLike Reply
Just did this recently! I go on the 5 to the 55, then merge onto the 91 and then merge onto 1-15! :) - kritomiester328.3 #482 7-21-11 8:29AMLike Reply
I'm super excited, my grandma agreed to start saving money so we can go to WDW! It won't be for another 2 years, so that will give us plenty of time to save so we can spend a week there.
Thanks you weaver941, I would have never got that @vtext.com thing. It works now I got your text and one from cyndaws. Thanks again - MJisMM31.0 #4326 5-25-11 10:05AMLike Reply
Not disney related, but are there any ex-smokers here? I'm trying to quit and was curious what others have done to help them quit.
My Dad used Nicorette gum and stepped down to the smallest dosage and then incorporated regular bubblegum ;-)) - WaltSentMe316.7 #539 5-23-11 3:19PMLike Reply
I quit recently, I got very sick at the beginning of the year with pneumonia, after couple weeks of not being able to smoke because of the cough I just quit, that was 5 months ago and still no cigarettes - MrBlue232.3 #1207 5-23-11 3:23PMLike Reply
That is awesome that you are trying to
quit! I hear the gum works...I, fortunately, smoked for a few years but was able to stop cold turkey. My dad's been smoking my entire life, and has not been able to effectively quit - StephiePooh572.6 #193 5-23-11 3:43PMLike Reply

Just got home after 2 long days at DL. Did a few firsts; first corndog, first breadbowel, first BRR ride, and I took a nap on a bench.
Did the corndog cause the bread "bowel"?
Just kidding. Glad you got so many goodies. Now go turkey leg, chimichanga, and plaza chicken dinner. - unclebeezy230.0 #1241 5-9-11 9:43PMLike Reply

I haven't been using MW for very long, so I have a question. I want to do an in park RAK on sunday, are there any guidelines I should follow? This will be my first one and I don't want to mess up.
I have never done one myself but what I read on here what people do is just post your location, what attraction you are near and what shirt or hat your wearing that day. Hope this helps! - robman97355.4 #402 5-5-11 10:57AMLike Reply
There's no guidelines but like robman says post what you're wearing an your location so people will know who to look for and where to find you. Help direct people to you if you can. Afterwards, remember to post someone already found you so others won't keep looking. - JediStitch429.7 #290 5-5-11 11:05AMLike Reply
Thanks guys, I figured as much, just wanted to stay on the safe side - MJisMM31.0 #4326 5-5-11 12:28PMLike Reply
From personal experience, (I did my first in-park RAK on my last trip), you have to update your location ALOT, and also, don't give up......it takes people awhile to find you, but it is SOOOO worth it when they do.....I think the main thing is just to have fun with it.......good luck!! - DuckDivingDon250.2 #1011 5-6-11 8:49AMLike Reply
Once at DL, I was so overcome by joy that I cried like a little girl. Best day I ever had. This ever happen to anyone else?
YES!! The time I had all my kids and grandkids together at the park for 2 days. I was so happy and my husband and I were so full of joy to have everyone together having such a joyous time! - dizluvr327.8 #487 5-4-11 11:44AMLike Reply
Yes you can, but remember to put really cool gifts inside and post the combo here!!!! Some people think they are to store jackets and stuff, but we at MW know the truth!!! ( disclaimer...just kidding mj, don't post the combo unless your doing a RAK!!) - Zipitydoodahdad258.1 #923 5-2-11 12:26PMLike Reply
@xjdem... I do the same thing and walk through if someone is getting checked and I have nothing. I thought u were supposed to do that . Being held at by another adult is just so disrespectful. I've been in a similar situation not at DL but being yelled at by an adult I just say " I'm a grown women not a child" - mozbaby132.2 #2558 4-30-11 2:10PMLike Reply
^ ^ Lol, Mozbaby! Your MW name contradicts your last point, there :) - Spoonful_O_Sugar436.2 #285 4-30-11 2:15PMLike Reply
So I'm going to Disneyland in a couple weeks and I've decided to eat at the park. Any suggestions?
Carnation Cafe is on Main Street in DL, which is delicious. Bengal BBQ over by Indy. DTD has a lot of yummy places too. - KAA350.3 #410 4-26-11 8:52AMLike Reply
The fried chicken dinner at the Plaza Inn is awesome! Lots of food and I believe it's about $13. - MainStreetMom112.5 #2861 4-26-11 8:54AMLike Reply
First, don;t eat from now till then. Second, start at Carnation then work counter clockwise through the park. There are no fastpasses for BB so make reservations early. Then after dinner, you can work your way slowly through DTD for desert and night caps. - BalooTBear904.4 #97 4-26-11 8:57AMLike Reply
