Made it home. One full carry on with 40 pounds of candy and a backpack full of dried apples, and had to leave about 30 packs of apples and carrots at the hotel.
are you serious about the 40 lbs. of candy? Wow!! Better start lifting weights now to get ready! - meridafan1035.5 #83 9-30-12 5:20PMLike Reply

Never too old, just got to know the secret: place hand or finger in front of your face and focus on it, your equilibrium should settle and feel better before you get off. Must do after it stops spinning - MarshaMouse2835.7 #16 9-28-12 5:13PMLike Reply

So excited for the Halloween party this Friday. This is a first for us. Any recommendations? Rides, trick or treating, fireworks? Thanks.
My honest opinion is that the fireworks show is the best I have ever seen at Disney! We are some of the crazy ones that camp out an hour before the show, front and center of the castle to get the sweet spot. We eat our dinner sitting there picnic style and watch the light show on the castle that's synced to the music playing on Main Street. It is absolutely worth seeing. Being able to see it on Main Street means you get to see Zero flying over the castle where Tinkerbell normally does. There are some other lovely surprises that go with the fireworks. The trick or treat stations are all over the park. We go to a station, go on some of the attractions in the area and go to the next set of stations and ride attractions there, going throughout the park like that. The lines are very often short, if not walk on for so many things. There is time to do a lot. We've gone numberous times and always feel like we got to do enough and see enough and that it was worth the money. We never have to buy candy for the trick or treaters because we go more than once LOL - Autoalice135.7 #2509 9-23-12 9:49PMLike(3) Reply
So there is plenty of time to do everything without rushing around? - Pudgeman 367.5 #378 9-23-12 10:00PM
We've never felt too rushed and we're getting around with 3 kids plus stroller etc. Even the year we had one of the kids in a wheel chair with a broken ankle we got around. Like I said, the lines are a lot shorter, if there at all. Space Mountain was a walk on. My husband went on with the 2 older kids then I walked right back in with them and rode it myself. Indy they would go on and circle right back in a couple times while I sat with the youngest. We like weekdays, I don't know if that makes a difference. But I remember doing at least one non-weekday and it still wasn't bad. - Autoalice 135.7 #2509 9-23-12 10:05PM
I went to it last year for the 1st time and will be there on Friday too. Its alot of fun, great parade and fireworks show. The kids had a great time at the Hub dancing with Buzz and the green soldiers. They do give out ALOT of candy but can also opt for a healthy choice. We only went to about 4-5 candy station and felt that was enough for us. : ) Have fun! - firemomof2128.4 #2600 9-23-12 9:39PMLike(1) Reply
