I had a wonderful, blessed birthday at the parks today. Disneyland & DCA are the BEST place to be for your birthday because everyone makes it so personal and memorable. Loved it!
So happy you had a great birthday. Your family is lovely! - DisneyGrandma338.7 #436 2-7-13 10:36PMLike(1) Reply
Good morning MW. Wanted to share a great deal I found. Zulily has Disney Couture jewelry 60% off. I had to grab this Mickey ring. Just wanted to share the deal.

Hey all. I need to ask a big favor of any MWers at DCA today. Can anyone tell me if there are anymore "The Circle Sessions" cd's left? I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks y'all.
For MW parents, how old were your kids when you stopped using a stroller at DL? I'm contemplating going today with my 3 year old without her stroller. Yikes!
as a mama...take the stroller unless you wish to carry a sleepy child. Great place to stash snacks, too. Tie a scarf on handle for quicky identification, as strollers are moved around by CMs. - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint1798.6 #42 10-10-12 10:42AMLike(4) Reply
^this. I was sad to give up the stroller, mostly because it would carry so much of our stuff! - Bo22 331.1 #469 10-10-12 11:53AM
I'd bring it unless you are prepared to do a lot of carrying when the little one gets tired. I wish I could use a stroller forever, just so I don't have to carry all my stuff! Have fun! - meridafan1036.1 #83 10-10-12 10:43AMLike(2) Reply
We so glad we brought an umbrella stroller with us when my younger one was 4. There was so much walking even us adults feel tired also. And we loaded lot of stuffs on it like jackets, bottle water, backpak, etc . Really appreciate we had it, saved our backs! Even my 7 years old wants to rest on it. Can't image without it. - RapunzalK180.0 #1863 10-10-12 11:22PMLike Reply
Bring it. I milked it out as long as I could. I miss the storage and having a cup holder. Three is way too young to expect them to walk all day. - HalfCaff66.9 #3459 10-10-12 11:32PMLike Reply
What do you do for dinner during Mickey's Halloween Party? Sacrifice trick-or-treat and picture time for a sit down place or a quick bite to eat?
I am going for the first time this Friday and I have no intention of stopping for food. So much Halloween, so little time. - Bo22331.1 #469 10-8-12 1:06PMLike Reply
I'd do that too but my 3 year old gets pretty cranky when she's hungry ;-) - Emlovessmallworld 42.7 #3919 10-8-12 1:09PM

Will World of Disney allow me to exchange merchandise even without the packaging? I've got the receipt but didn't realize that my daughter's tractor toy has a broken hinge. Thanks y'all.
I would guess that they will give you a replacement. - ScooterMike1959.8 #35 10-5-12 10:07PMLike Reply

Hey all! Has anyone seen any Brave costumes at DL? (except Merida) My daughter wants to do a Brave theme for Halloween but I haven't had any luck online for the other characters. Thanks.
If you want to make an old style kilt, it's pretty easy. You need to find wide fabric that will wrap around. Then you hold it together with a belt at the waist. The length of the fabric just gets twisted and comes over the shoulder. In ancient times the kilt was used as a blanket, as a towel, and a cloak for warmth. If you DM me I could forward you a website. You will need several yards of a tartan material. - Sharkgrrl19202.9 #1585 9-5-12 10:24AMLike(1) Reply

you may have to make other characters yourself which for brave should not be so hard but could get a little expensive to do.it not uncommon for a new movie to only feature its most popular character for halloween. - pikarich610.9 #178 9-5-12 9:21AMLike Reply

The disney store is already selling halloween costumes but u would have to go to the website to buy most adult costume.I didn't see anything new at the park yesterday other than the normal princess outfit but halloween merch will start appearing soon. - pikarich610.9 #178 8-15-12 10:23AMLike Reply

if it was a lady holding it for her husband and small child then ok...but not for 10 people!!! Someone did that during Black Friday and it almost caused a riot! LOL - ThinkThinkThink302.5 #598 7-24-11 10:24PMLike Reply

I've alerted CMs to that before. If it's a good attraction cm, they will tell the group no. Now a lot of them are younger and afraid to do so, but that's worth a shot. If my kid can suffer through the line, so can theirs - 415beachgirl469.0 #259 7-25-11 7:35AMLike Reply
