Countdown to Disney. Babies first trip. Hoping my 5 month old will do ok. Any tips for baby in the park?
Infants can ride almost 90% of the resort attractions. If your traveling with more adults in your group ,take advantage of parent swapping for the bigger rides like splash, indy, space mnt, soaring etc. You go to the attraction entrance and kindly ask for a parent swap, while the rest of the group goes and ride spend time with your minis that cant ride. When your party returns from the ride , you and 1 other can return to the ride sometimes in the exit or the fastpassline and ride the ride again with little to no wait. Take advantage of the Baby Care Centers--one on Main Street in DL and one by Ghirardelli's in DCA. They have changing stations, nursing stations, and a microwave if you need it. If it's warm, find air conditioning (tiki room, animation building, indoor attractions). Don't forget to keep the both of you cool and hydrated! Take a hat for him and sunscreen. - IDVandalSkipperCM1291.1 #63 5-3-13 9:25AMLike(1) Reply

Thanks. Trying to figure out what to do about sunscreen. Everything says to wait until 6 months. Will definitely have to find those nursing stations. Thanks for the stroller tip. Always wondered how people kept track of them especially when they create new stroller areas when you are on a ride. - LoveDisney28.5 #7311 5-3-13 11:58AMLike Reply
I had the same issue, our first visit was at two months. The nurse was pretty vocal "keep her out of the sun!!!" I said of course I will but wanted to be safe. In the end we did not use sunscreen, kept her covered and she did not get a tad red whatsoever. - PrincessDuckie 586.9 #187 5-3-13 12:10PM
I'm very impressed, and a little intimidated! You did a wonderful job! Did you take it somewhere to have it embroidered? ....I think I'm going to exhausted my begging skills at the hotel first. 😜 - Sweet_Irish_Cream2547.4 #22 11-2-11 4:27PMLike Reply
Actually, she did it all at home. Our machine does sewing and embriodery. So that's what she spent working on the other day. - icephoenix25234.8 #1170 11-2-11 4:33PMLike Reply
