You have to get in line in the morning or whenever for the show you want and have your tickets with you to get the fastpass, then later they will put you in the wheelchair viewing area. So grandma would have to come in that morning to scan her ticket so you can get the fastpasses. the only way I know of around this is to buy a reservation through one of the dining options, go on disneyland.com and look at dining, or world of color and special dining options.
