I was a CM at a Disney Store. When you pick up/drop off your application treat that as your "First interview". They won't tell you, but if you make a bad first impression they will not consider you for an interview and write so on the application. If the CM is with someone wait until they are free to drop off the app. Speak to a manager. Ask when they expect to hire next. The more availability the better. Bump. This should be kept going. CM story (even though it's not DLR): I saw the bakery series vinylmations and knew I had to get one for my cousin because cupcakes remind her of her recently deceased friend. So, I went to my local Disney store. They told me they didn't have it, but helped me figure out how to order it despite my lack of bank account. After that, I figured that while I was there, I should find my almost seven year old Cars fan cousin a birthday present. The CM that was there told me that she'd saved a Cars 2 playset in the back and went to get it. When she came back, she was genuinely depressed because someone had found it and sold it the day before. She helped me to the best of her ability to pick something out for Brendan. The CM went above and beyond to make the trip a success. Laura was so happy that she cried when she got her vinylmation.
