I would imagine that they would give her the same type of e-ticket if she bought on line which you then have to bring to a ticket kiosk to get your actual pass. What's above all the shops, behind those windows? Is it offices? CM lunch rooms? I wish I had unrestricted access to the whole of Disneyland so I could explore all hidden corners
Remember that Main Street was built with the idea of force perspective. The buildings actually get smaller as the taller it gets. The only buildings that actually have a function for the upstairs area are the buildings in Town Square. If you take a good gander at the windows you'll notice how small they are compared to the first floor. The force perspective thing is a bogus story given to us by CMs. The truth is, that's where the 7 dwarves live. That's right! I know the truth! - Philliprocks 275.4 #770 10-14-12 12:05AM

Last year Xmas 'officially' started Monday, November 14 but we were there on Saturday, the 12th, and all of the decorations were up, or almost all of them, and they had the holiday fireworks going then. The parade was the only thing that changed over on the 14th. It usually starts around veterans day and before it used to start on a Friday so we were surprised that it wasn't the 11th last year but the 14th so I'm assuming if they continue with the Monday start it'll be the 13th. What's the best outlet store close to Disney? Is the block at orange ok?
Citadel is pretty good. Off the 5. 20in from dl - MrMike274.7 #781 11-5-11 12:49AMLike Reply
The Block is more of an outdoor mall. Unless they've changed it from 10 years ago lol. Yeah it's been that long - cesium55529.7 #216 11-5-11 1:30AMLike Reply
I can barely contain my excitement and I think I may just burst. In 4 weeks today, we are surprising our 4 kids with a trip to Disneyland. I NEED to talk about but we just cant when they're around. I'm so excited.
What would you do?
Uncle bob just gave you $1000. You have a $1000 debt on your credit card but a trip to disneyland would cost you exactly $1000. Would you pay off your credit card or go to Disneyland?
Heck no I can make payments to the credit card. I'd go to disneyland! - ImAlwaysCrazy646.4 #166 10-20-11 10:50PMLike Reply
Suze Orman says pay your bill then save for DL. You're paying an exorbitant interest rate that will total a lot more than 1k by the time you pay it off. - Westcoast61.0 #3552 10-20-11 10:52PMLike Reply
How do you feel about Marvel being part of Disney? I was looking at the boys costumes online and was disappointed to see ironman and captain America for sale.
Working at a Halloween store, it's improved the quality of marvel costumes. And really, it doesn't bother me. Everything is owned by somebody else. I don't want to much marvel in my actual parks mind you. - JediTrance71.1 #3382 9-19-11 11:08PMLike Reply
Spiderman just doesn't feel right in Disneyland. :( but I feel the same about starwars (running and hiding). :) I do enjoy the starwars attractions but it just doesn't fit. - TrueFromOzLovesDisney312.2 #545 9-19-11 11:13PMLike Reply
I think its cool I can find that stuff in DTD cuz I like it, but I agree w JediTrance. In the parks would be wrong... - Mr. Fredrickson120.4 #2725 10-1-11 9:13PMLike Reply
I am absolutely thrilled that Disney now owns Marvel. Now my Disney-hating/Marvel-loving boyfriend has nothing to complain about when I want him to go to the parks with me. Plus, now my daughter's Spiderman Princess costume was actually Disney related! - Marieeezy588.9 #185 10-1-11 9:18PMLike Reply
I rang Disneyland hotel today to change my booking and the guy on the other end recognized my voice and knew we'd spoken before. It must be my Aussie accent. His name is Carlos and he was so helpful and full of Disney magic. Makes me look More...

I've heard some of you have had trouble getting phone service in the park. I can buy a sim card from AT&T or T-mobile. Will these work?
BumP! I'm hoping someone will answer so I can press the buy button. I don't want to but them If we can't acces mw in the park. - TrueFromOzLovesDisney312.2 #545 9-13-11 2:42AMLike Reply
I have Sprint & have never had a problem. Sorry if that doesn't help at all. - DisneyBelle18.3 #5228 9-13-11 5:37AMLike Reply
You do get a new phone number, all the Aussie Disney girls do it though they mainly go to wdw. Lb chic I can pm you a link to the place I'll buy it from if you're curious. But like a previous poster said, it's just like turning my phone into a pre paid one. Last time we were there we bought new $25 prepaid phones but this time I'd like to be able to keep our iPhones cause of mousewait and it would cost too much to buy them there, so we buy a US sim instead. - TrueFromOzLovesDisney312.2 #545 9-15-11 5:57PMLike Reply
I ALWAYS have trouble with my T-Mobile phone in the Parks. - Princessana0839.3 #4007 9-15-11 9:08PMLike Reply
Who is in charge of the mousewait radio? I have a request. I would love to be able to hear the music you hear while waitingbin line for Disneyland. There is a wdw one but not Disneyland.
The music before you enter the park? There's the Esplanade music if that's what you mean - cesium55529.7 #216 9-9-11 12:09AMLike Reply
I meant to say " while waiting in line for Peter pans flight". Must re-read my posts lol - TrueFromOzLovesDisney312.2 #545 9-9-11 1:14AMLike Reply
Not a live pic. Waiting for the fireworks.
We just booked the GCH for a splurge. We'll be ther for 4 out of 13 nights. After that we're slumming it at the carousel inn. So excited.
What haven't you eaten or drank at Disneyland that you'd really like to try?
I'd like to try the bacon wrapped asparagus at Bengal BBQ and the Matterhorn sundae only if I get a badge. - TrueFromOzLovesDisney312.2 #545 9-6-11 6:43PMLike Reply
Do you re-use your Mickey ears and hats for your Disney trips? We don't get to go very often so we buy new ones each trip.
My kids bring their ears almost every trip. I can't afford to buy each kid their own each trip but they don't mind. - supertracy435.6 #284 8-31-11 8:48PMLike Reply
I need a new camera for my trip- I have a canon 7d so I'm spoilt and want my point and shoot to be awesome quality-
The 7d is just so heavy and I would be behind it all the time if I brought it-
What's your fave point and shoot?
I have a locker rak question. You take something out and replace it with something else don't you? Does the thing you give have to be Disney? I was thinking of bringing some Aussie things over to put in the lockers for raks, but if it ha More...
I'm not sure if I will host my own locker rak though, but it looks like a fun thing to join in with. - TrueFromOzLovesDisney312.2 #545 8-3-11 5:49PMLike Reply

Funny thing just happened . I was typing mrsstrawberryguy in a post and I had just typed in the mrss part and my phone automatically filled in the rest i must have used her name a few times before.

I have a seious question. Very serious indeed. Are the grape soda pins a limited edition? Will they still be available in November?
A better question would be. Where any grape sodas harmed in the making of the pins??? Who's looking out of the grape soda?? - Sam241475.6 #251 7-30-11 1:59AMLike Reply
This is a very serious matter that should not be talked about MW. (Although I think they are limited edition, but don't take my word on it.) - acpowers13148.8 #2304 7-30-11 2:00AMLike Reply

Oh that would be awesome. Dh was thinking of canceling the trip because I was going to go on rides with one little one, he'd be with the other and the two big ones would be together.
