So my sis and I took our girls to the parks yesterday and had a BLAST. Got a little disney hangover from our 10+ hour day but it was amazing! Think the girls thought so too! :)

Let me tell you something. First I miss my droid x and the large screen. However since I have got the iPhone 4s I have been really impressed. Now this is coming from someone that could not stand apple. Spencer loves apple but I was like NO too expensive and I can get just as good stuff with android versions. I now have an iPad 3 as well. Here is the reason. I was riding down the sidewalk on my scooter one day. I was passing the home depot in my town and so guy in a large truck like suv decided to not look left and only look right and run the parking lots stop sign. Guess what way I was coming from? Well he hit the front of my scooter and messed up the scooter pretty bad. I was ok and I didn't notice the scooter issue til later (which we fixed no problem) but I always keep my phone on hand either in my hand or on my lap because I use it for directions and public transportation routes. Well when he hit my scooter my phone flew out of my hand in slow mo and I watched it fall and his tire go over it and it go up into his vehicle. The guy stopped and I couldn't find my phone anywhere. Phone is only 3 months old. I didn't care about me or the scooter. It was my phone. He walks back to his car and finds it in his undercarriage. And it WAS NOT broken!!!! No scratches no cracks. Only a very micro small chip on the edge. Nothing more you would get if you had dropped the phone. That right there is why I reccomend apple to everyone now. Indy, pirates, haunted and I think big thunder (but we didn't go over) were open. There is a special video intro to the show but the rest was the same. There is special food (coaster posted with all the options) and there were special shirts, popcorn buckets etc. ride times were short, we didn't have awesome viewing because we only waited the last 30 min before it started. The event is more about the show than the rides. People were sitting down for their seats around 7 and by 9 they were completely full for the bottom sections. BTMR, Indy, Pirates and Haunted Manipn were open. My recommendation is to have someone in your party claim seats early while someone else gets the special food because they did sell out of certain items. Then as soon as the show is over go on the rides. Indy & BTMR had 20 to 30 minute waits where they other two were walk ons. The opening of the show has a video explaining the creative process of the show and it's opening day. The show itself is the same. Hope this helped. This is from my own experience: Attractions close once park hours are over and you aren't able to go on them unless you were in line before close. Stores on Main St. stay open for about an hour past close for guests to shop, although technically they don't close until the last guest leaves. Security (in the white shirts/black jackets) usually start making their little walking trip from around the Hub area (where the Partners statue is) down onto Main St. Then, they usually give guests the "look" when they are hinting that the park's closed and it's time for you to leave. Obviously, they're nice about it. Ive never been to disneyland late at night... how crowded is it late in the evenings (like 10pm)? of course i dont mean on the nights when they close at 8 ... that crowd would rock but security might have something to say about it! :)

Disney balloons must be filled with magic dust ... these balloons are from labor day weekend and still kickin'. Amazing.

Morning! You can park in the structure an hour before the park opens. You can get through tge security check as well but tge gates to get into the park don't open till the scheduled opening time. Although, if you are a DLR hotel guest there are some mornings that you get in an hour earlier then the general public and can ride rides in Fantasyland (magic mornings) . Some days they will open Main Street down to the Hub early, usually about 15 minutes before park opening. There seems to be no rhyme or reason why they do it some days and not others. It's not related to Magic Mornings. So if you're lucky, you'll have a few moments to make your way down Main Street.
