Hello fellow Mousewaiters! I was wondering if it is possible to get into the Animation Studios store in Burbank if you are not a cast member. Any info is much appreciated. Thanks! :)

Fake pins are out there and I was wondering if there were fake vinyls and how can you tell? Hope this is the right place to post. Thanks!
There is a serial number at the bottom of each vinyl, if the number starts with a FH64 or a FE60.... it is most likely a scrapper from Hong Kong.... Scrapper meaning someone dumpster dived behind Disney's production warehouse and got these outta dumpsters.... why were they in the dumpsters?? because the vinyl didnt make it past the production line due to quality.... most fake vinyls come out of Hong Kong though... and most of the time SUPER CHEAP!!! - VinylSteve515.4 #226 1-31-12 10:09AMLike(1) Reply
Great info @vinylsteve!!! Thanks for sharing! I've seen a bunch of these hong kong cheepos on eBay, they sounded too good to be true, guess they are. - Nesabell 157.7 #2177 1-31-12 2:54PM
Also some fakes don't have a serial number on the bottom at all! - MaxMouse6.2 #8821 1-31-12 4:00PMLike Reply
Ya. I was looking at my vinyls the other day and I realized that only one didn't have a serial number on the bottom. I did get it off eBay and it did come from hong kong. Now I know. I don't mind the one because I like it and it's part of a set and I won't be trading it bu now I know what to look out for... And I won't be buying any from hong kong again! Haha - RetroMinnie49.5 #3758 1-31-12 4:51PMLike Reply
Hey everybody! I changed my screen name. I was danalady but I switched my name to RetroMinnie. Much more fitting. I found mousewait and got so excited I didn't have time to think of a good name. :) I love this app and this community.
Hey. Just wondering if anyone has changed their screen name on here. Did you have any problems after? I want to change my name but I don't want it mess up anything. :)
Hello my MW family! I have a question for you all. I am going to Disneyland November 10-13 ish. I was wondering how long it usually takes to take down the space mountain ghost galaxy overlay. I'd hate for it to be closed when I'm there bu More...
It takes a day or two. Like most attractions, it takes forever to set up... but only a little while to take down. :D - prettyinpink10.4 #6620 6-18-11 12:15PMLike Reply
If u are lucky the Christmas stuff will start going up when you are there. I think it went up on the 12th last year. - WeLoveDisneyland413.1 #311 6-18-11 12:27PMLike Reply
Last time I was there, I went from Oct 29th to November 1st. They were playing it November 1st. Don't quote me on this but I believe it's all year long with the exception for a few days, you should be good beginning of Nov =) If anyone else can answer this better I'll keep it bumped =) and welcome! - CMMinnieCouture135.9 #2501 6-4-11 11:09PMLike Reply
We always go in November or December for our annual family trip and it's always playing but I believe only on the weekends. If the hours during the week are shorter, like the park is only open until 8, 9, or 10, then there won't be fantastic. But the weekends it is for aure - brodysmommy243.6 #1060 6-5-11 7:49AMLike Reply
Haha Nesabell, ya I've decided I'm going to go in November. Gonna save up my credit card rewards points and use those in the form of a visa gift card so I can like eat... and stuff. :) We'll talk about it tomorrow. I'm excited to watch our movie. :) - RetroMinnie49.5 #3758 6-7-11 8:45AMLike Reply
