Our family has been Premium pass holders for the past 10 years. We're throwing out the idea of not renewing. (Passes expire in August) Totally on the fence on the decision! Finances isn't an issue, but to figure we shell out $3,200 for 4   More...
We get them every other year (or about). That was our plan a few years ago and sometimes it wasn't quite a year and we renewed. But this year we are going to stick to that plan from now on. With my oldest in school now, it's too hard to do more than 2 trips while he is in school. Plus, the kids getting older and the cost for us to go is getting a lot. I'd like to do other vacations also (Disney will always be #1) but going to the beach for a weekend etc is still making family memories so we are sticking to the every other year plan for awhile now.  - brodysmommy   403.2 #511 5-24-15 10:40PM Like(3)  Reply

Renew. Simple as that. Consider all the wonderful, live entertainment, first class attractions, clean parks, the beautiful flora, fauna (and merryweatherπŸ˜‚), characters and ✨magic✨...it's a small monthly price to pay.  - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint   5264.5 #16 5-25-15 7:30AM Like(3)  Reply
We took a break from our APs a few years ago. Busy family and a desire to do other things... Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Zion etc. there's only so many play hours in a year. It was the right choice for us. That being said, two weeks ago we threw down some serious cash on 4 Premier passports. We had a fabulous weekend (even though we just missed the new 60th stuff) and we are counting down to our two week trip to Florida next month. I'm crazy excited for this year of magicβœ¨πŸ˜„ - wannahockaloogie   158.4 #2496 5-25-15 8:41AM Like  Reply

Oh noooo!
yep that is why I avoid the crowded season. If it is kids then the parents did not want to vaccinate. Sometimes it’s the adults. Most adults do not get a booster measle shot because the children should have been vaccinated. By 10 years post vaccination, your immunity usually wanes. All these condition start out like a cold and then escalate. i went to college in my 30’s for nursing and I could not enroll until my shots were up to date and I could prove I had measles immunity. Guess what I had to get a measles shot. - Plumiegirl   8838.9 #3 1-7-15 4:30PM Like(1)  Reply

How is it in Ca, for Premium AP we pay $700.00 compared to Florida they pay$634.00 and get 2 additional parks to play in. And for less than $60 you can add water parks and golf! Why???????
My guess would be demand. A lot of people local to Disneyland purchase annual passes as well as nearby states like Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Washington and Arizona. Disneyland is more locally driven while Disneyworld makes much of their money from tourists. Getting an annual pass for Disneyworld is probably less in demand  meaning slightly lower prices. - missmimi90   1864.0 #76 12-26-14 8:30PM Like  Reply

I only had one child 23 years ago and Disneyland was the only park on the property. I did not go till my son was 3 and he was potty trained. With one park and one kid, I planned on 2 hours visits and my son walked till he was tired and went home which is very close in anaheim. I realized folks come from further away and this is why they pack soo much but like you said. It is so much fun to see the surprise and wonder at each new thing they experience while there. It is a very short time they are small. Believe it or not it is easier than you think. We stood behind some at an LE vinyl release.  They were shameless...you could only buy two per person and had to have a wristband to do so.  So This guy brought several KIDS and a handful of adults with him.  He must've bought between 15-20 sets, and resold them for much more than retail. It's like, what are you teaching your children to do?  Bend the rules so that you can totally capitalize on someone else's product?  Crazy.  It was infuriating.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  585.3 #317 9-22-14 11:28PM

The Hotel is normally there 24x7 because of hotel guests. I tried to get in for a pin event at 3am and there was a guard there.  Are you staying at the hotel?  If so, you should be ok.  If you ate there, save the receipt, show the attendant and see if they take pity on you. I have got past a few attendants with receipts. You can also ask to talk to a lead to see what they can do.
