Disney fanatic from the Central Valley- moved down to San Diego in 2007 (El Cajon). I live with my boyfriend and 2 adorable, trouble making cats. I became a Premium AP holder in December '10 & look forward to every visit I can make to the Parks! :)
We were given an assignment @ work to make a mini bio for a shadowbox for an unoccupied room (I work in a Senior Living Community) & naturally mine had a Disney spin to it! I eas very pleased with the outcome of it!

Hoping that you guys can help me out w/ some info. My bf & I are thinking about trying Big Thunder Ranch BBQ this week & have been reading reviews online. I figured you guys would be more helpful. What's your opinion of the food & overal More...
Have you checked the food reviews on MW? I posted one there, but basically, it's $20/lunch and $25/dinner. The difference is just that there are sausages and corn for dinner. Soda is $3. All you can eat and drink. They will bring you little buckets with chicken, ribs, coleslaw, and beans. Oh, and I think there was cornbread. Food was good, not super authentic southern BBQ good, but theme park good. When I went, they also gave you a to-go box for any leftovers. I plan on taking my brother sometime, that guy can EAT! Lol! - bluefairy627.4 #174 1-30-12 11:24PMLike(1) Reply

If you are really hungry and want a fun place to eat this is it. The food is good, it's all you can eat and the entertainment us fun! The lady singer, piano player and guitarist are great! They sing songs and get the kids involved. - Boundin425.4 #299 1-31-12 12:37AMLike(1) Reply

Hey there all! I was just looking @ DL's website & noticed that on Dec 12th & 13th the park will close @ 6pm. Anyone have the scoop on why? I couldn't find any info about it! :)
With the rapidly approaching holiday season, I'm just curious if there is one thing in particular that you enjoy or look forward to most at DL/ DCA? I love the castle @ night & the beautiful wreaths in NOS.

Good morning all! I'm hoping for a little help here. When I go to the Parks I always park in the TS Lot because I'm not sure how exactly to get to the parking structure. Can you guys please tell me how to find it?? I'm coming from San Die More...
For Mickey and Friends get off on Harbor/Ball. Turn right off the off ramp. Turn left on Ball. Then follow the signs in to the structure! You can also get off on Disney way and turn right on Harbor and left on Ball, the same way just different exit. Hope that helps. - CxD_CM518.6 #226 10-28-11 9:05AMLike(1) Reply

From Katella turn right (north) on Harbor, go to Ball road and turn left. The second traffic light, left turn, takes you to M & F structure - have a great day! - mike714335.0 #453 10-28-11 9:08AMLike Reply

Usually it takes more than one time to conceive. It took my husband and I to get pregnant 6 months with each. There is a lot you can't do but also a lot that you can do. Depending on how close you live I would say get the pass, its worth it. - KAA353.2 #406 10-18-11 8:53PMLike Reply

I went to DL all through my second pregnancy, there are still plenty of rides you can go on and eating is super fun, and all the walking is good exercise. It may take a while to get pregnant too, you never know how long it will be before you are blessed. - akpoppins243.3 #1074 10-18-11 8:54PMLike Reply

It only took us 2 months to conceive. Turns out I renewed my AP when I was pregnant already, I just didn't know it yet. There are still many attractions you can do. I have always had a good time going to the parks while pregnant. It's only now getting more difficult because I am towards the end so I am waddling and having some pain and pressure in my pelvis since he dropped. But Disney is still so worth it! - TickledTink352.8 #409 10-18-11 10:44PMLike Reply

My BFF is taking her 10 yr old nephew on his first trip to Disneyland this Sunday! She will have a Magic Morning on this trip. Any suggestions as to how she should utilize her time in the park?

First trips are always a blast. Because it's a lot to take in for a young one and they don't know what to expect, I would start with some of the smaller attractions before going onto the bigger and better ones. - Bonedaddy22.9 #4829 6-10-11 10:35AMLike Reply
