Pic from this past weekend! As my son gets older disneyland seems to become more and more fun. He has allowed my husband and I to see disneyland like a child does!
RAK..3 RSR fast pass good till 5 my son fell asleep :-( @ area between the 2 entrances. First to say Hi!!
awww he's snoozing and holding his AP, I hope somebody finds you. - Linzee533.2 #218 1-12-13 4:55PMLike Reply
We are on our way. How long will you be there? Would love them so the 5 year old can go since he can't do single rider with hubs and daughter. - emnldsmom199.9 #1674 1-12-13 4:57PMLike Reply
Anyone do the AP early entry this past Saturday? How was the line for RSR? Gonna do it this Saturday and Sunday.
My daughter and I were. They did not do the normal "rope walk" to Carsland. We headed straight there. The cue was full but we literally did not stop walking through the line until we got through all 3 garages. Took about 20/25 minutes at that point. Overall, it took 30 minutes to get in to the park, wait and ride. We then walked on to TSMM (loved that only 2nd time ever to walk on) grabbed a morning snack and headed to Disneyland. Definitely a lot more people than the other Early Entry we did but still worth it IMO. - ElectricMayhemMom320.1 #537 1-10-13 10:59AMLike Reply
My son is 40 1/2" with his shoes on. We are oping he is able to get on RSR. If not we know that is only for his safety. Any parents ever been forced to take their children's shoes off for a ride?
Lucky! My 3year old is 39in!! (I'm a short guy myself...) so we can't get on the big kid rides just yet...I just tell him soon enough :) - Jfigg23254.7 #990 1-9-13 10:20PMLike Reply
Not all CMs are created equally. We verified that Cannon could ride RSR with the CM at the stick, went back to leave the baby with family and got him all hyped up to go and they shift changed and the new CM was pushing his head down with her fingers. I was livid. He would stand there, hit the bar and she would slide her fingers back and say he was a half inch short. At 40 and a half, he should be just as tall as to top end of the measure sticks, you won't have a problem. - cynDOLEwhip745.3 #138 1-9-13 10:32PMLike Reply
That sucks! Similar thing happened with my 4 y/o a yr ago for TOT my husband was taking him measure at the gate and was fine but when they are literally about to board the elevator the CM was kinda rude (from what i gathered) measured and didnt let him on, after he had been on almost all other big rides :/ oh well. I was nervous for him at that time anyways π - qbnmama 111.8 #2925 1-9-13 10:43PM
It's safety which I totally understand but it was a very awkward and frustrating experience. Even the other CM at the front saw that he was good to go but I think she was training him and used us as a (bad) example of how important it is. He just stood there and gave us sympathetic eyes. - cynDOLEwhip 745.3 #138 1-9-13 10:47PM
Anyone use Priceline to get their rooms for DL?.. They have a good deal going for this weekend but the hotels (3 1/2 stars) are on the east side of the park and the other side of the 5.
The HOJo is across the street and is the official hotel of MW..
The offer a discount for MW'sers

Thanks! The Hojo is the best! - Admin 1-8-13 2:32PM
We've had great experiences with Priceline around DL and in other areas. Convention Center Hilton, both Holiday Inns, and Marriott Suites are a few examples of hotels we've been placed at for under $50/night. Some do charge for parking, but that charge doesn't bother us. The only one we were a little unhappy with was the Travel Lodge a few years ago, but we entered a low ball price of $30/night on a whim, not thinking we'd actually get it, lol. For that price, it was fine. - Spoonful_O_Sugar439.1 #288 1-8-13 2:36PMLike(1) Reply
wow really good price! - OhanaPhoto 1578.4 #50 1-8-13 8:40PM
We've used it a couple times when the hojo was booked. Whatever you do don't go under 3 1/2 stars - Minderella267.0 #874 1-8-13 9:08PMLike Reply
Good advice. Stay above 3 stars! Most of the places near the main gate are 3 stars, unfortunately. - Twitterpated 233.7 #1212 1-8-13 9:54PM
I am on a very low budget and Priceline Name your price for 2 ** is the only reason that I can visit. I do love the HoJo and they are running specials this year. - Song954.9 #93 1-8-13 9:13PMLike Reply
My son really wants the "king dinoco blue" car for Christmas. We are headed to the parks this weekend. Is that something we could find pretty easy?
They should have in WOD. They have it on Amazon & if you use link from Mousewait (for Amazon). MW gets benefit. $16.99 btw - ShariRenee1576.0 #51 11-15-12 8:17PMLike(1) Reply

If you do not have a ticket for the Halloween party how long do u get to stay at DL until they ask you to leave? The park website said DL will close at 6pm on the 9th, will we be asked to leave ASAP?
Yeah they escort everybody out ASAP and they check wristbands - princessVanessa382.6 #360 9-27-12 12:29PMLike Reply
Yeah, either online or in the park. You can also check out(while online or in the park) the array of discounts you get with the annual pass! I have had mine for only 3-years and don't regret it at all. - Omeganrayn156.6 #2237 7-12-12 9:35AMLike Reply
FYI: got a pre approved credit card from Disney and after 1st purchase I get a $200.00 gift card! First years fee of $49.00 is waived, but I'm thinking of canceling the card at the 11 month time frame. Anyone done this? Thanks - snappy274.6 #805 6-29-12 2:27PMLike Reply

Question? At what age did u start letting ur little ones go off on their own/with their friends at DL??
I probably will not allow my son to go alone till he is about 15 and that'll depend on how responsible he is at that age. You can never be too careful with your kids safety. That's my motto at least. - aidensmama339.3 #446 6-21-12 10:11PMLike(4) Reply

Mine are 18, 14, 12, and nearly 10. I will let the older two go together, but they have cell phones. I'll let the three of them run around Tom sawyer's island together, but I'm on the island just not running through caves with them. - JenAnneWho300.7 #623 6-22-12 12:19AMLike Reply

What do you guys think the parks will be like the Sunday and Monday before Valentine day? Thinking of taking the lil guy.
Sunday is Lincolns Birthday, and is likely to be packed. Monday will be moderate, likely alot busier after folks get off work to celebrate an early V-Day.. - TheBudd357.3 #406 1-30-12 12:22PMLike Reply
What are the parks like Super Bowl weekend? My lil sis is thinking of going.
It shouldnt be to bad since alot of people more likely will get ready for the game. - VfxGenie1399.9 #57 12-26-11 2:17PMLike Reply
it depends on who's playing in the game. if there's a lot of local interest, then the crowd may be quiet. This year, it was a little busy since the two teams were from the East Coast. - BaseballMickey_CM2992.9 #15 12-26-11 2:24PMLike Reply
We went on Superbowl Sunday thinking it would be light crowds. I guess everyone else thought the same thing because it was packed. Never doing that again. - LaneSparrow316846.9 #108 12-26-11 2:42PMLike Reply

Anyone know if the Grand still has discounted rooms for Sunday??
Only way to find out is call here is the info.
ACT QUICK! We have access to a few more rooms at the Grand Californian this weekend (Sat-Mon) at the MouseWait Group Rate of $189. This is an extremely low rate and you rarely see it this low at the Grand. Call group sales 714-520-5005 and ask for the MouseWait Group Rate, I think there are only a few rooms left so you need to call right away.
