I live in the Monterey Area we have annual passes and have gone 3x's so far this year and will probably be going some more it is a better deal to get passes cause when u go 1x u have to pay $250 just for a 4 day pass. They say if you go 3-4 times in one year it more than pays for itself!! 😊 - missdisney925105.7 #2965 9-5-12 7:49PMLike Reply
I swear I just saw holly Madison going into dca. If not it was her exact doppelgänger.

So while a crazy crowded day can be hard I still love Disneyland in the summer. In the late fall it can be so easy to ride every ride a million times but I miss that summer energy and excitement! And oh those summer nights...
Just got three grape soda pins for my party of three to wear in the park in July! I will have to explain to my hubby and sister that this pin is one hot commodity.
yes it is i am still trying to get my hands on one

I was watching robin hood (Disney cartoon from the 70s) last night and something dawned on me. Disney movies often have such serious themes underneath the supposedly childish movie. This is why those movies hold up over time.
I absolutely love Robin Hood!!!! - scbcrew138.7 #2464 6-19-11 7:31PMLike Reply
Robin Hood is my favorite Disney cartoon. You're right though, these themes are why make them universal as well. - LisaMouse7531409.1 #317 6-19-11 7:32PMLike Reply
I just recently have become a disney freak and i agree, some of the disney movies hit me harder then regular drama movies. Toy story three and lion king for instance. I love my daughter and mines disney movie nights so much! - madsdad1124.5 #73 6-19-11 7:33PMLike Reply
So true! And they all have a good lesson to be learned. So many times I've said to one of my kids "Remember how when Pinocchio lied, how much trouble he got into?" or "remember when Simba was too afraid to stand up for his family and friends?" It's a great example for a serious lesson that children can relate to. I love Disney! - TandAlly213.5 #1436 6-19-11 7:34PMLike Reply
It's a huge bummer when u tell people u super into Disney and their reply is: "you know walt Disney was an anti-Semite". Is there even any proof? I couldn't more than a family guy episode and rumor.
No, it's not true. I believe in the late 40s he was involved with a group that aligned themselves with the Nazis. Walt backed away from that group, the name escapes me, for that very reason. Many former employees say he was in no way a racist, he even hired Jewish people and they came out in his defense. It is completely untrue. - DisneyFanZoe1096.7 #75 6-16-11 3:53PMLike Reply
Watch "Walt: The man behind the myth.". They talk about that. Netflix has it. - jjdq326.7 #490 6-16-11 3:55PMLike Reply
For a long time the Disney studios created anti-nazi cartoons. Like Mickey going to fight against the Germans. Ive also heard that hitler had a price on his head and he even banned any Disney films in Germany. - CheshireKatt4187.3 #1784 6-16-11 5:52PMLike Reply
What surprised me was last night when I renewed the family APs online, I was pleasantly surprised that I got the 20$ discount from the OLD price, so premium AP was 439 as opposed to 499. Score! - stratdad291.1 #662 6-13-11 12:58PMLike Reply
Not that much, an extra $5 a month. Small price to pay for a lifetime of magic! - akpoppins243.3 #1068 6-13-11 1:00PMLike Reply
@strandad if you renew 30 days before your pass expires you get the discount. I wasn't so lucky :( - Ry-Ry40.9 #3969 6-13-11 1:16PMLike Reply
So I'm taking my sister for her 31st birthday to Disneyland in July. (I've warned her that it will be very busy!) She hasn't gone since childhood. What r some musts for DL?
A ticket.....just kidding. Bring a smile and a camera and no matter how busy you will have memories that will last forever.
