Sorry this may not be the place to post this, but need opinions and help. WOC picnic packages... Worth it for the fast pass? Or are the fastpasses readily available? Coming in 2 weeks, don't want to miss out on good seats!! Can't wait.. T More...
Get the fast passes, because beginning June 1st, the picnic meal packages will no longer be available due to adjusting park offerings. - iPoca.905.8 #96 5-22-13 5:58PMLike(3) Reply
So just get the fastpasses at the park? Where do you get those from? Thanks - HawaiiTink 206.2 #1538 5-22-13 8:12PM

Never had the picnic basket but fast passes are not hard to get as long as you get there fairly early. - annamichelle176.9 #1906 5-22-13 5:44PMLike Reply
The FP you get with the picnic is the same as the regular one anyways. Plus, the food is *fine* but nothing special. You'd be much better off getting a FP and then grabbing food from the Wharf or Garden Grill to eat while you wait for the show. - bcarter97.3 #3063 5-23-13 9:23AMLike Reply
WOC picnic waits in yellow queue just like the regular yellow tickets. The only advantage in "seating" is Carthay Circle, wine country trattoria and Ariel's grotto. - CM_Tamstirr321.4 #517 5-23-13 11:59AMLike Reply
Just wanted to share my excitement... We will be in Disneyland in 28 days, staying at the Disneyland hotel for 8 days... And we chose Goofys kitchen to introduce my toddler to the characters! Can't wait!!!
How exciting! Hope you all have a great time! - DisLUVney333.8 #456 5-6-13 10:32AMLike Reply

Hi, we will be in Disneyland in one month. We are a party of 5, 2 adults 2 teens (17,15) and one toddler (2). Question to you all is... Minnie's breakfast or Goofys breakfast? The toddler LOVES all things disney and this is his first trip More...
Goofy's Kitchen because the food selection is massive enough to please everybody. - Linzee517.3 #225 5-1-13 10:32PMLike(1) Reply
How are the characters? A big variety? - HawaiiTink 206.2 #1538 5-1-13 11:02PM
We've always left pleased...usually a combo of at least 5...Goofy, Alice, Mad Hatter, Alladin, Jasmine, Mulan, Baloo, Belle in blue dress, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Peter Pan, Hook, Rafiki. Plaza Inn we've seen Pooh Bear, Eeyore, Hook, Piglet, Fairy Godmother and Minnie. Granted we are Goofy's Kitchen fans, maybe a Plaza Inn regular can chime in more about the characters you may see. - Linzee 517.3 #225 5-1-13 11:08PM
Goofy's Kitchen. Done Plaza Inn before but definitely prefer Goofy. I have 12,8,6,&5 yr olds and they like the food selection better and the character choices are just as good. You feel less rushed as well since you're not inside the parks already. Have a great time - iloveprinceEric219.5 #1362 5-2-13 3:56AMLike Reply

Thank you all.. We are going the beginning of June. I can't wait! We haven't been in about 5 years! My oldest will be 17 and youngest 2 when we go. Can't wait to see it through the baby's eyes!! YIPPEEE!!! - HawaiiTink206.2 #1538 1-31-13 2:38PMLike Reply
I have a question... My son, who will be almost 3 when we go in June, won't have a ticket. But he will be tall enough for some rides. If we get fast passes, how will he ride with us? Thanks
My cousin has a very tall child. He was wearing pull ups and 4T as a 2 year old. When they took him to Disneyland they did encounter some grief and side eyes however he was able to ride the rides without a ticket. - EpicDio381.7 #354 1-7-13 5:20PMLike Reply
My son was 40 in before 3...no one ever even asked us for a fastpass for him, you'll be fine! Have a great time! 😄 - MinnieMousewife570.4 #194 1-7-13 6:01PMLike Reply

We stayed last night and had a room in the Frontier Tower, so pretty! We were on the 12th floor and had a view of the pools, DTD, and could see the peaks of Splash Mountain & Matterhorn. - LBChica1500.3 #52 8-27-12 6:05PMLike Reply
Hi all... I was wondering if there is any birthday merchandise at the parks? My son is 2 today and loves Mickey and Cars, especially Mater. I would love it if someone could find something and I would pay for it and shipping. Thank you all More...
There is a Mickey mouse that has a birthday hat on and a happy birthday t shirt and he is holding a cake. I'm not at the parks but I saw it there on Saturday. And I have one of my own - disneyprincess2327205.6 #1541 8-15-12 6:02PMLike Reply

Aloha all... Need opinions please... Disneyland hotel or paradise pier? 5 of us, sons high school grad trip. Stayed at the Grand before, but no longer in budget. All opinions are appreciated... Thanks!
The rooms are bigger(very important with teens) and the view of the pier at night is amazing! - SueBayou 2012.0 #34 7-12-12 11:22AM
We have stayed at both and prefer the Disneyland Hotel. It's a closer walk to the park and the monorail. The pool and rooms are nice. - mickeyinphilly3.1 #24724 7-12-12 11:11AMLike Reply
If budget is an issue, Paradise Pier is the way to go. Stayed at both. Disneyland hotel is nicer. Paradise Pier is still very nice and you can use the Grand's entrance to DCA and that is a bonus. - streetsweeper441.7 #280 7-12-12 12:48PMLike Reply

Ok so I've seen alot of planking pics. Can someone explain this to me.. Haha not sure how or why...But I want my kids to do it when were in the parks... Thanks!
So are there "rules" to planking? Or can it be anywhere anytime? - HawaiiTink206.2 #1538 6-13-11 8:37PMLike Reply
Planking is an fad consisting of lying face down in an unusual or incongruous location (usually as high up as possible). The hands must touch the sides of the body, and having a photograph of the participant taken and posted on the internet is an integral part of the game. Players compete to find the most unusual and original location in which to play. The location should also be as public as possible, and as many people as possible should be involved.Planking has its origins in the lying down game (1997 or 2006) in Europe and Japan. It has also been known as "시체놀이" ("playing dead", South Korea 2003), "à plat ventre" ("On one’s belly", France 2004), and "extreme lying down" (2008)... its a strange fad.. but sometimes funny ;)

Welcome to Wait! I haven't been to Disneyland since the mid 80's and having more than a major withdrawal. My two little boys are asking me to take them (because alot of their classmates went during Spring Break). I'm hoping Hubby and I could take them either next Summer. If we do go next Summer, we will be in the LA area for two weeks. - Sleeping_Beauty79.4 #3285 7-17-11 5:21AMLike Reply
Since it will be hubby's and our kids' first time there, I'd like to show them Hollywood, will most likely stay in Disneyland for 5 days and do Universal, Legoland and Sea World too. Hope it won't overwhelm the kids as they will be 5 and 6 years old, respectively, next year. - Sleeping_Beauty79.4 #3285 7-17-11 5:27AMLike Reply
