8 hours until we leave nor cal for Disneyland! I cant sleep....
Have a great time and safe travels. I live in the bay area and we sometimes leave by 4:30 am to be there at 10:30 am or so. It's not too bad as long as we don't have to stop too often for bathroom breaks. :-) and sometimes on 5 you never know what rest stop will be closed. :-) - TigerLily76

Yet another thing I love about Disney, if you ask they will send you their recipe!
I've got quite a few of their recipes. The pumpkin muffins are my fav and I can tweak it at home to save on the calories. - 415beachgirl

going in august and staying at the desert palms hotel.. any thoughts?
We always stay there.. absolutely love it... we have had the Sahara suite and the kids suite. We prefer the Sahara suites lay out androom better... since the lids would go to bed early the opaque. Glass in the kidss suite let too much light in for them to fall asleep.. - Disneylanddad702

I stayed there last fall and was very happy with it. We stayed in one of the suites also, forgot what it was called, it was very nice and roomy. The breakfast was great, and was walking distance to the parks. The only issue i had was with the pool, there was so much chlorine, my eyes were burning, and you could smell it really bad! But, I'm sure it's not always like that, probably just a bad day with chemicals. - JessM4

Just booked our DL trip for our 15th anniversary.... we went here on our honeymoon too! August cant get here soon enough!
