I'm beyond grateful they have the payment plan. I work my butt of, as does my hubby and I'm sure most everyone here on MW. I could not afford to drop $2000 in cash to pay for my family to go without the payment plan! We are huge fans and spend plenty of money inside the park, at the Disney stores and elsewhere. As AP holders, we probably spend more money on average at the parks than any other tourist. I feel extremely privileged and lucky that we can go the parks as often as we can. Who knows, there may be a day when we cannot. I am happy to be at the parks crowded or not. i am happy to be at the parks and see the happiness and joy it brings to all people. Yes, Disney is in the business of making money. I am happy to contribute my hard earned money so they can aid in creating memories that will last a lifetime! Question? If a 2day ticket is bought for a child does the ticket have to be signed by an adult(parent) and would that ticket be able to be upgraded to a pass at the end of the 2nd day by someone else?
I don't know if its still the same way but I have several tickets from when I was younger that I had to sign, not my parent. And at the end of the day it can be made into a pass for the child. Not sure about the first couple of questions. I arrived at 5 and got my wristbands. Heard people were showing up around 1030 and still getting wristbands. In regards to saving space, there were a lot of blankets around 6 when I walked past the area. I had to ask to make sure they were waiting for the 1130 show. From what I remember when I had an AP, you had to spend at least $10 just to get the discount. Then for the 55th Anniversary, to thank the AP holders, we extended the discount for Premium from 10% to 20%. As a teacher, I say it is...FABULOUS!!! Education today is so focused and driven by test scores and data. But what really inspires learning is real -life experiences!! To be good readers, writers, etc kids need to travel, spend quality time with family, and create lifelong memories. They need to experience the joys of being a child!! I get 2 personal days a year. I swear I'm having Disneyland-DCA withdrawals! I don't even know how long its been since I've been there...maybe a month! LOL.BTW can you track the days u go to Parks with ur pass?well I'm going Wednesday and can't wait.

So I'm taking my friend and her 2kids to Parks on Wed.(boy 4 &girl 2) they kids have never been. Didn't even know what Disneyland was! What rides shouldni hit up first? Or what should I make sure they get on?

The carousel dumbo storybook land Casey jr the dark rides in fantasyland might be too scary for them. Take the girl to pixie hollow. Watch Disney junior live at DCA. Show them the animation academy. OK so I'm new to this still so help me out how do these RAKs work? Do I have to be in park? Or any other info that u can give to help me get the most out of mousewait? TIA!
Before you enter a RAK, please be sure to READ the RAK INFO. RAK post almost always include directions on how to enter and what one must do to be contacted. There are mail RAKs where it is sent to you or In-Park RAKs where you must find your fellow MWer who is hosting a RAK in order to receive it 😊 I am particularly fond of hosting RAKs myself.
