to the mousewaiter who was on the app all the way through haunted mansion this afternoon. please put it away at inappropriate times. I know its an awesome app but its a dark ride for a reason.... :-)
Oh....it might have been FB. More people are addicted to that than MW. Next time don't let it get to you, there's always going to be people on their phones, just focus the attraction and try not to let those around create bad moments for you. You're at Disneyland, enjoy it and focus on the good - MarshaMouse2834.8 #15 7-4-12 6:00PMLike(10) Reply
People always tell me to put it away at innapropriate times. - madsdad1123.3 #73 7-4-12 6:00PMLike(2) Reply
Gee, my phone doesn't even get a signal inside the Haunted Mansion! But even if it did I'd know better than to try and use it inside a dark ride! - coasterbuf9.4 #6935 7-5-12 11:37AMLike Reply
14 more days till Disneyland! can't wait for it all. that esplanade music is going to be just what the doctor ordered. the big green cones will a relief as well. haha
so my sister and mom are on vacation in d-land this weekend. but my wife and I have to work. anybody else ever have a jealous weekend like this!?

question. my wife and I are heading down for memorial day weekend. how are crowds normally that weekend?
So crowded they will have trams to reroute guests to knotts, universal, sea world, legoland, and santas village. - chris.2507.3 #24 4-17-12 1:26PMLike(4) Reply
Thank you for the input, if its too bad we can just hang out at uva for a spell :-) - docter4196.8 #8289 4-17-12 3:28PMLike Reply
So insanely crowded that the only two attractions you will get on is the tram to and from the Mickey & Friends parking lot and there is a wait time for that too. - splashphotoCM880.9 #100 4-17-12 3:31PMLike Reply
my wife and I just decided to have a quick trip for 2 over memorial day! we have not been just the 2 of us since our honeymoon 4 years ago. love the family but we need an alone trip! :-)

We all need some alone time. Since they changed my husbands work schedule, we go to the park once a week while all the kids are in school by ourselves for a couple of hours. We have so much fun even if we are there for only 2 hours. - mommyland289.4 #670 4-9-12 7:07PMLike Reply

I am watching a special on Disneyland called "behind the scenes" on netflicks streaming. pretty good way to cure my Disney itch. It rehashes a lot of information we already know but its still worth a viewing.
omg i'll be back in d-land tomorrow! 4 nights at the grand! this day could not be over fast enough! this is the only time in my life where I look forward to waking up at 4am. haha
Sounds awesome! Enjoy! I hope today zips by and the next 4 days go by very slowly for you! - Disneycrazymom99.5 #3033 12-6-11 10:35AMLike Reply

can't wait till Wednesday and the trip to d-land, especially after this work week. I need some fun! so what is everyone's first ride tradition? mine is to fastpass indy and then ride potc :-)
just read a nice article on yesterland about the upcoming avatar land in Disney world. I personally think its a bad idea. I don think that movie will translate well into a theme park. and I don't like the thought of an outside franchise s More...
It is a little different from indy and star tours in two major ways, though. IJ & ST are both attractions that were placed in pre-existing lands. The fit was natural, not forced. Avatar, if I've read correctly will be an entire land devoted to a movie that is not Disney. The second difference is that Disney gave the Lucas films time to become deeply rooted in the fantasy of America. While Avatar is not without merit, it's just not there, at least not yet. Give it fifteen years, then we'll see if it still seems like a good idea. My advice to Disney: spend a little less money buying other people's well-made film rites, and make a few more land-worthy films like Lion king and Aladdin. - LittleAprilShowers471.0 #256 10-20-11 9:57PMLike(5) Reply
Its basically the same thing as Indiana jones and star tours. I don't see anything wrong with it - erINwonderlandCM254.9 #961 10-20-11 10:45AMLike(2) Reply
Your right about star wars and indy. Totally forgot about that! One key difference, I love those movies! Avatar stinks! Haha - docter419 6.8 #8289 10-20-11 10:49AM
Why do you hate the futuristic adaptation of Pocahontas? - shadowgamer 1954.3 #37 10-20-11 10:53AM
The great thing about Disney is if they try something and it doesn't meet their expectations, they redo it (DCA) or remove/replace it (Rocket Rods). There is nothing for them to lose in trying. I mean its not like they are turning the submarine ride into a Titanic Adventure ride. - SorcererBHhaha408.5 #317 10-20-11 11:08AMLike Reply
hey everyone, we are planning a Christmas trip and we are interested in the candlelight processional. any advice? does anybody know who is doing the reading this year?
I saw the line up for Epcot but no idea about Disneyland. I'd be interested to know if anyone has done it and what they thought. - JediTinker๎ฅ26.1 #4572 9-26-11 8:25PMLike Reply
I go almost every year. Don't know yet who is doing the reading. I used to perform in it with my high school choir many years ago. Great experience. - disneygal365.8 #380 9-26-11 8:30PMLike Reply

I've played "tour guide" for friends and families who have never been, etc and many times I'll bring a blanket for fireworks or Fantasmic and for a few hours i people watch to enable others in my group to have the best experience
during their one day visit. The way I see it we all have the same opportunity to save spots. - PrincessDuckie584.1 #187 8-14-11 10:17PMLike Reply
It is pain to me as well because this person has probally already seen this show so many times and it is a bit annoying that they do this but then I think to myself look at all the wounderfull things that he misses out on and when the show starts everyone stands anyway so what a waist of time - puddy7783.2 #3233 8-14-11 11:47PMLike Reply
