Could someone please explain to me how the fastpasses for Radiator Springs Racers work, with location, time and early entrances? are they usually gone before the park opens for everyone else? im so confused lol
This is what I understand, the fast pass distribution is in Bugs Land and doesnt open until 8am. The pass line is super long and usually runs out of passes by 9-10am. If you get to the park by rope drop..let them know you are wanting to line up for the fastpasses and the CM's will direct you to where you need to stand...I hope I got that all correct. When I went I just waited in the single rider line and the wait was about 40 minutes. - yellowtonka237.7 #1138 7-22-12 3:43PMLike Reply
FastPasses for Racers work the same way as the other passes... They are generally running out of them about an hour into the park opening. The pass machines are located at the entry to a bugs land - CaliCanuck511.7 #230 7-22-12 3:48PMLike Reply
Hey all! Has anyone stayed at the Park Vue Inn or Candy Cane Inn, any input would be appreciated! :)))
We've stayed at the Park Vue. Not my favorite, a little overpriced but very convenient being right across the street. We did end up with black sock bottoms from the carpet but to be fair, they said they were in the process of replacing the carpet. My vote is HoJo's if your staying off property. - minigirl1156411.7 #315 7-8-12 6:21PMLike Reply
We have stayed at the Candy Cane Inn many times. We love it! Good service, clean rooms, comfy beds, continental breakfast and their own shuttle. We may stay there again in Oct if there are rooms still available. - Diznimom211.8 #1460 7-8-12 6:52PMLike Reply
do you think it is far enough to take the shuttle, is the walk too long? - FaithTrustandPixieDust11.2 #6416 7-8-12 10:05PMLike Reply
IMO it's *super* close, the shuttle is handy if you are too tired to walk back at the end of your day or if you have mini's and no stroller. - Linzee 517.7 #225 7-8-12 10:14PM
Good morning all! I have a quick question, has anyone been to disneyland in the beginning of January? When does holiday decor come down and any idea of crowds at this time? i'd appreciate some input, thanks! :)
Comes down the first weekend in Jan. And after Jan 2 the crowds are pretty light - Jimineycricket197.1 #1667 6-19-12 10:07AMLike Reply
Hi everyone :) do you think living 7 hours away from disneyland is too far to have an annual pass? do any of you have a pass and live far away? ( trying to persuade parents)
Im 8hrs. Away and we make it atleast 5 times a year with our ap. So no not to far! - Firefighter_Donald22.8 #4837 8-18-11 5:03PMLike Reply
I've met guests from Washington, Oregon, Ohio and Massachusetts that have APs - BaseballMickey_CM2860.3 #16 8-18-11 5:04PMLike Reply
I've had a WDW AP before- after doing the math, it made sense. Two trips within 12 months - 415beachgirl469.0 #259 8-18-11 7:16PMLike Reply
We are 6 hours away and seriously considering getting an AP. That way we will have more of a reason to make the trip more than once a year. More Disneyland = more fun. - ima-pirate310.9 #555 8-18-11 7:17PMLike Reply
I used to dream about DL as a kid and the first time I ever went I was 21. So I'm going to say 21 years. Otherwise it's been almost 3 years since I was there last. But I will be back there in 38 days! Yay!! - JR21.9 #4896 8-9-11 5:51PMLike Reply

Love October! Halloween is my FAV holiday in and out of the Parks! - JessicaRabbit33667.9 #156 8-8-11 11:23AMLike Reply
I've only ever been in March and the lines are long because of spring break so I'd avoid March and April, but I hear Oct. is good its not as crowded and the decor is amazing! Hope this helps. - Knik449.4 #275 8-8-11 11:23AMLike Reply

Has anyone been to disneyland after new years? what was the weather and crowds like? - thanks :)
The weather is great at that but it is also the start of our rainy season. Beware of that. The park is also pretty quiet, my fav time to go. :) - sulovebug3.6 #15914 8-4-11 10:45AMLike Reply
I just watched Snow White and realized an important life lesson... not all apples are healthy :) Have any disney movies taught you any life lessons funny or serious?
Yes. Beauty and The Beast taught me to be nice to my wife cause one day a beautiful enchantress may appear. - HotDiggityDogDaddy1112.2 #74 8-2-11 11:57PMLike Reply
