The time on the fastpass can depend on the crowd and popularity of the ride. Also, the pastpasses don't really expire so you can stock up. You can get a new pass every couple of hours or sooner passed on the return time of your last fastpass. Fast pass system works like this, I hope I'm answering your question, Dland and DCA are on different systems. You can get a FP for one attraction, let's say you got Radiator Spring racers, since your return time will be hours ahead, you can get another one in two hours for another attraction. Now let's say you got one for star tours and it's return is an hour or forty minutes from now, then you can get another one after your return time at star tours. Now the return restrictions are not strict at Disneyland or DCA yet, so return when you want but after the time it says to return.
