Does anyone know when the frozen pre show packages will be out for October online right now you can only book reservations through 9/5/16
This is unofficial but a CM told me they might stop the pre show after the 5th because they're awaiting an announcement of the closure of Hollywood land (for the rumored Marvel takeover) which is where the pre-show takes place. - BAMBAM   1129.9 #0 9-4-16 11:00PM Like  Reply
Nooooooo!!! I was going to do the pre-show for my sister's 40th bday, as a special treat! We will be there on the actual day of her birthday, and wanted to do this instead of a character breakfast. @@@@BAMBAM, thank you for the information, as I was wondering why I couldn't book 60 days out!  - CentralCoastAuntVon  152.5 #2779 9-4-16 11:14PM

I would love to go on Oct 31, but we can't. We have to be home and hand out candy. We decorate every year, and add somethings new. This year we are adding a projected witch, and I'm hoping to get another projector for the singing pumpkins. Same idea as haunted mansion. Anyone uses Disney Photo Pass. I wanted to get lots of pics since it's my grand daughter first time going to character breakfast meet and greet going to do the princess makeover we wanted to probably purchase a cd of all the photos. Anyon  More...
Cd are no longer an option and where discontinued.  There redid the photopass now called photopass+. There is one option where you can buy all the pictures with download I think it's Disney any day it let's you get all the picture from any one day so if you do this I would load up as many pics as possible on to one card or pass if available  - pikarich   6657.6 #19 5-24-16 12:22PM Like(1)  Reply
So for the photo pass plus I need to take all my pictures in that one day if not if I take pictures on the other days of my trip. I have to pay per a photo is that correct - calme2  39.1 #126 5-24-16 12:58PM
Load all the pictures onto one photopass if possible as you visit the cms can load up the pics to that card. Then you go to Disney disneyphotopass site or at the resort . You can buy pics a la cart or download , or the best value is Disney one day as mentioned. If you need additional days there is no specials as this price is per day  - pikarich  6657.6 #19 5-24-16 1:26PM
However it works and whatever it costs, get it or you will regret it. Those memories cannot be replaced or duplicated especially since you said the word ' grand daughter'. Use the photo pass photographers as much as you can. I bought some and they do add a cute little 2016 or Star Wars graphic at the photo shop. - Bobbierocha   195.6 #2147 5-24-16 5:24PM Like(1)  Reply

It used to be open to anyone after 11 am or if she is with you they just check one room key so she can enter with you - UTDISNEYFAMILY   2068.6 #89 5-13-16 1:12PM Like(1)  Reply
As far as I know anyone can use it during normal hours.  Just Disney hotels guests can go in for early entry.  - keepmovingforward   264.9 #1299 5-13-16 1:05PM Like  Reply
I believe it's 11am that anyone can enter. it is NOT open for everyone during park hours. I tried last weekend and had to wait 10 minutes. Typically it's 1-2 hours after park opens. Otherwise you need a Disney hotel key....or eat at Storytellers and they will let you in without a room key also. - DLKenCA   3072.4 #51 5-13-16 2:01PM Like  Reply
If you eat at whitewater snacks you can go in by showing your receipt.  one time this happened to us as they said we needed a room key. She doesn't have to be in the line with you, she just has to be checked into the park. We check in and the my son and husband go do things I dont ride while I get fastpasses. - keepmovingforward   264.9 #1299 5-13-16 1:01PM Like(1)  Reply
I agree. I do his with my mom all the time as it is easier for one person to navigate through congested fastpass areas (star tours). So long as the park ticket has been used for admission on that day, if is eligible for fastpasses. - TheRealAlice  237.9 #1588 5-13-16 1:57PM
She has to be IN the park (scanned at front gate), but doesn't need to be with you. You can take your entire party's tickets and get them while they wait in another ride line. - DLKenCA   3072.4 #51 5-13-16 2:02PM Like  Reply

Child has to wait outside with an adult.  You can roll the child up in the stroller to the CM at the entrance to the attraction.  As for the FP, really just one of you needs it if it's just the 2 of you and the child. - IDVandalSkipperCM  2642.9 #59 4-23-16 7:59PM

Howsit!  I live on Maui and only go to the parks once a year. The APs are definitely the way to go if you're staying for any length of time.  As long as you go next year before they expire, you get 2 years for WAY less than the price of Park Hoppers for two visits (plus you get the discounts on all your food and souvenir purchases)!   We're going this year the first  two weeks of August (our passes expire the 3rd week). We'll now wait to buy new ones when we go next year (so we start the 2-yr cycle again). Which island do you live on? - msdizmaui   875.5 #235 3-7-16 4:10PM Like  Reply

Oh they have it set up nicely now. Just head to the castle! Some princess will be to the right at the wishing well. Go left at the castle and you will find a royal greeting hall where 3 princesses are waiting to meet your royal family for pictures and conversation. They also can tell you which princesses are where by simply asking a royal page, they are located in these areas and are very friendly! - PrincessDaisy_FU2Rcm   362.0 #691 9-10-15 8:20PM Like  Reply

Is being a annual pass holder worth it? What are the benefits. We live in Hawaii and come once a year and always buy the 5 days but we stay actually for 8 days normally going to other parks like knotts and universal but sometimes we wish  More...
A five day park hopper ticket is $315. An AP is $549. So if you come once a year, you can plan the first trip say the end of sept and then the next year plan it beginning of sept and it's cheaper to get the Ap than buy 2 5 day park hoppers. Make sense? That's how/why we decided to buy ours. We always go at Xmas time and go 4-5 days each time. So we plan the first trip in mid December and then plan the next year either early December or November. Then the pass is cheaper. If we do any other trips throughout the year we look at them 'free' (not really since we have to pay hotel and gas and food, but tickets are free). So yes, if you go 5 days each trip it is worth it. And then like you said, you can hit the parks in the evenings the other days you are there and back at your hotel. And yes, you get hotel discounts and food and merchandise too so that's nice getting a little back each time :) hope that helps!! - brodysmommy   468.3 #505 9-8-15 2:21PM Like(2)  Reply
we then skip the next year with the pass and then start again in December  - brodysmommy  468.3 #505 9-8-15 2:22PM
Good point & idea! - DisneyHeidi09  302.7 #972 9-8-15 3:40PM
Yes, discounts on hotels, merchandise, and restaurants. However, if you only come once or twice a year I think the 5 day ticket is better. Your mileage may vary. - dizneedude   1859.8 #103 9-8-15 1:50PM Like(1)  Reply
If I were you---I might consider getting the AP pass for you and hoppers for everyone else. You could then be the person making hotel reservations or buying the food and merchandise and getting the discounts for your whole family. (All that food and merch add up!!!) - TinkerSchelle   2101.4 #84 9-8-15 4:08PM Like  Reply

I'm Canadian and I've had annual passes twice now and have still found them well worth having. Gives us an excuse to come down more often. We go once a year for sure and when we've had passes we've come down at least three times in that year. The food discount is a bonus too. Plus the freedom to come and go is nice! - disneymom1   277.1 #1176 9-8-15 5:24PM Like  Reply

They originally sold for $84. No discounts for buying early, or pass holders. I also expect them to be a little more expensive next year, since I paid $57 last year for a day in Sept., for what is now a $63 ticket. - AngelaSparrow   138.5 #3023 9-4-15 12:00AM Like(1)  Reply

We stayed at the HoJo for about a week in 2012. Pros: the water park! My kids could spend all day there. It is a doable walk. McD's nearby. Cons: rooms were older, hotel doesn't have too many amenities, walk is WAY longer than I'm willing to do now. In all, it's a decent hotel for the price, but there are better deals out there. PM me for recommendations in your price range. - Diz_Mel   96.0 #3790 6-2-15 7:38PM Like  Reply

Just for a point of reference, Disneyland Hotel is 0.9 miles from the entrance and HOJO is 1.1 miles so if you think the walk from disneyland hotel to the front gate is alright then you'll be fine with the walk from hojo. - missmimi90   2053.6 #90 6-2-15 8:10PM Like  Reply
I love staying at the hojo. My kiddo loves it. Little arcade room, a store with soda, snacks, souvenirs, and more inside. Two pools. One made for kids. It's themed. Then another for older kids and adults. Views of the parks. Rooms include a Keurig machine and fridge. Parking is easy. Walks to the parks are about 5 minutes. Not bad at all. How do I get the cool stickers. This is new to me
Stickers nights are Tuesdays. Admin releases a new (or sometimes old) sticker set and they are for sale with MW credits in the MW Store; which you can navigate to by using the three bars to get to the menu and choosing MW Store or using the Navigate button when in the lounge and choosing MW Store. Sometimes, like right now, there are still stickers left from sticker night. Once you have stickers you can go to your "My MW" and view your collection or choose to "Feature" the sticker so it shows up by your name. You can also add them to your posts and comments by clicking the "Stickers" button and choosing a sticker to use.Β MW Credits are accumulated from participation in the lounge and wait times or you can purchase them from the MW Store. - 1HitchhikingGhost   293.4 #1040 5-27-15 1:44PM Like(1)  Reply

Plaza Inn for fried chicken is a must!  Also I love the Hungry Bear (especially for lunch when you can watch the duckies and Mark Twain go by).  Rancho del Zocalo is pretty good and a pretty setting, and you must try either Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta or Paradise Garden Grille. - Sarafina   491.7 #471 6-18-12 2:04PM Like(1)  Reply
