I am 37 years old. Live in Hawaii. I love Disneyland!!!Wish I lived closer to go. I have only been here Twice once when I was 13 and when I was 30. But coming back in a few months. I am so excited. I should try to come every year.
Anyone know when the best time to bring my grand daughter where she could enjoy most of the rides. Concern about the height requirements
If you click on "Disneyland" or "California Adventure" on the dashboard of this app, it takes you to the wait times for each park. The attractions' height requirements are also listed. I recommend grabbing a tape measure and then seeing if she's tall enough ☺ - SPandEvLover782.7 #122 8-31-12 2:30PMLike Reply
In the morning during the week days.. mostly Tues-Thurs you will be able to do quite a lot of Fantasyland attractions. Also, the week right after Thanksgiving is usually less crowded as well. - MyPark944.4 #91 8-31-12 2:31PMLike Reply
We are missing Disneyland. Can wait to take my grand daughter it was sad she couldn't make it when we went two weeks ago but we got her mouse ears she lives it
Anyone have any tips on getting a good spot for fireworks on the 4th. We like to video tape it. Plan on being in the park early and all day want to get a good spot
I have heard that the good spots are grabbed shortly after rope drop. People take turns watching the spots for their families all day. - ScooterMike1959.8 #35 6-28-12 12:56PMLike Reply
Thanks for you info - calme2 5.6 #9546 6-28-12 12:59PM

I can tell you that a bad place is the Main Street Train Station (learned this last year). Too many trees in the way - BaseballMickey_CM2861.7 #16 6-28-12 1:32PMLike Reply
Last year, we were in the middle of main street ( not sure if we are like beside the carnation cafe area or the porch area). But its a good view, the music is great - otilegna862.2 #106 6-28-12 2:38PMLike Reply
We went last year around 3:00 pm and people were already saving spots in front by the castle. We sat and waited 6 hours for a front castle spot :) - Aquata292.2 #659 6-28-12 2:42PMLike Reply

There is always at least one MWer at the park at all times. 😃 On the day you go search the lounge for the Roll Call. 😃 - Dahulagirl1053.2 #81 6-18-12 1:58PMLike Reply

What are favorite foods at Disneyland that you like. I am trying to get a assortment of places in the park to eat for 4 days breakfast lunch and dinner
Plaza Inn for fried chicken is a must! Also I love the Hungry Bear (especially for lunch when you can watch the duckies and Mark Twain go by). Rancho del Zocalo is pretty good and a pretty setting, and you must try either Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta or Paradise Garden Grille. - Sarafina398.8 #335 6-18-12 2:04PMLike(1) Reply
Thanks for the info. I will definetly try them:) - calme2 5.6 #9546 6-18-12 2:10PM

For Lunch, Jolly Holiday (get a good outside seat for the parade!), for dinner, Plaza Inn has the best value, or for that special occasion, my favorite restaurant among all parks now is the Carthay Circle Restaurant and lounge! - Timsierramist298.2 #618 6-18-12 3:11PMLike Reply
Anyone have gone Disneyland during the 4th of July. Also which show is better to go for World of Color. Our trip is from July 2-10 this year. Just wanted to find out any tips. We haven't gone in 7 years
Fireworks for sure! They do a great job and you will need to bring Kleenex! - Minnis2Society360.0 #391 5-2-12 4:42PMLike Reply

I have been on the fourth before... Maybe 6 years ago or so and it really wasn't that busy :) - Echoingecho134.0 #2537 5-2-12 5:11PMLike Reply
All my MWer's who is going to be in the park on July 3 and 4th? Coming all the way from Hawaii for the fireworks and to have lots of fun!!!
I would post closer to that date. Many of us MWers live in SoCal and don't plan trips to DL that far ahead. Sometimes we decide to go last minute. It will be crowded for the July 4th holiday, and I'm certain there will be MWers there. Some APs will also be blocked out. - ScooterMike1959.8 #35 3-29-12 3:13PMLike Reply
We are going to Disneyland from July 2-10. My birthday is on the 24th. Do you think I can get a button or do I have to be there on that day to get it?
You can get a birthday button on January 15th if you want - Slotherini886.9 #99 3-21-12 8:09PMLike(3) Reply
Get one! I just got back from my friend's bday trip and it wasn't on her actual bday but she still wore a button. They don't ask for proof or anything. :) - Jillian765.4 #129 3-21-12 8:10PMLike Reply

Main Street for Fireworks and where ever you can get a good view for WOC - Armenda994.7 #89 3-21-12 7:32PMLike(1) Reply
This is my best spot - E-Ticket 772.5 #128 3-21-12 7:57PM
for recording WoC, i would say the bridge by the blue section, just because the scale of the SO BIG, it gives you a good panoramic view with minimal obstructions without having to constantly pan your shot - DonaldMissingPants296.2 #633 3-21-12 7:36PMLike(1) Reply
My grand daughter Rose only three months. Hanging out and holding hands with her best friend Pooh. Can't wait to take her to Disneyland when she gets older. Anyone knows a god age where it's magical yet for them but she can also enjoy the More...
My mom took me when I was only a few months probably not the best idea haha! - baconhawk97.3 #3063 3-21-12 11:46AMLike Reply
My second child was 1 1/2 when we first brought him and he had a blast! My third was 17 days old her first trip, she's about to turn 3 in a couple months but she's been really actively enjoying her trips since she was about 1. I think some of it depends on the child. Mine started early. There is a lot for them to enjoy when they are little. - Autoalice135.7 #2512 3-21-12 12:05PMLike Reply
Where can I get those Mickey mouse rice krispie treats from. We had them complementary in our room 4 years ago and they were yummy
Marcelines in DTD also carries them. They have different variations like M&M and chocolate dipped. - JenInWonderland1025.1 #86 3-21-12 8:11AMLike(2) Reply
They also have them at the Pizza Port over at Tomorrowland. - LiddoMermaidCM142.9 #2399 3-21-12 7:50AMLike Reply
Sometimes they are at the ordering stands of places like the Village Haus or the check-out stands at Pizza Port. - MoonWillow371.9 #373 3-21-12 7:52AMLike Reply

The garlicky pomme frites at Cafe Orleans are delicious. At Hungry Bear, I like the fried green tomato sandwich and potato fries. At the Village Haus (pinnochio themed eatery in Fantasyland), I love their flat bread pizza! Waaaaay more flavor and better texture than anything at pizza port. - Polkadobo372.1 #372 3-20-12 9:52PMLike Reply

Hi. I am new at MW. We are going to Disneyland the week of the 4th of July next year. We are so excited and can't wait. Going to be staying at the Paradise Pier. I thought this was a cool app to download.
