So i got my daughters their first lanyard for pin trading. Question: i know we can ask cast members to trade, but can we ask random peeps in the park too? i know some of you collect the pins. what is the proper way of asking? TIA!!

Well, I'm sure any mouse waiter would be more than happy to trade, but watch out for the sharks! These are the people who bring hundreds of pins that are very exclusive, they are allowed to say no to pins. Cast members have to trade with you, they aren't attached to their pins like the sharks. Now, I'm not bashing the sharks, their pin collections are amazing, and I have respect for them, but cast members are better for beginners.
