Ok. I always get front row seats and wait about 30-40 minutes. I always watch the second show at 10:30 ish. Go for the moderate hotels. We stayed at Saratoga Springs when it was Dixie Landing- loved how they had boats there. A plus if you have that option in pkg (plus you can time it to see fireworks fr water taxi!), Yacht Club had best food (Cape May's clam bake buffet), Port Orleans had a pretty good pool but would rather have stayed elsewhere. Wilderness Lodge was like the Grand. Amazing pool and food. Also stayed off property and hated it. Shuttles were fewer and more of a hassle. Plus, WDW didn't deliver packages to your room. We loved to shop, even for little things like pens and ornaments and food. It was a relief to not carry it around or worry about it melting. I don't know why it is but when my adult friends and I go to DL we tone down our profanity to like zero. But there are times you just wanna scream out a 4 letter word or two. I think the rain kept peole away yesterday so everyone is going today. And it was also a magic morning day. Crowds were much thicker today. I left around 1 to get some R&R by the hotel pool.
